Motion light with a remote and 3 settings!
I first want to start off by saying that I live in the north east United States and with our winter weather, we definitely do not get a lot of sun and this definitely hampers the longevity of the light being on at night, but the functions that it has make up for that.I only need it to turn on when I let the dogs out, and to see if any critters are running around the yard.There are three settings, the setting I use is the one that it is on bright when motion is detected, then will shut down.I I also use the remote to turn it on while I am inside just for peace of mind before I let the dogs out. As I do not use the light for being on at all times, it has been perfect for me.The light is very bright on the high setting, and on the lower setting, it still provides good ambient light.Just keep in mind that this is solar, so if you get enough sun, it works amazing. However, if you do not get a lot of sun, it will not last as long, so temper your expectations if you believe that you think this on all night long on high..It is plastic, and very light. The attached solar panel can be adjusted and is a very large panel. There is a mounting bracket that comes with it that you will attach to your garage or fence, and the units solar panel attaches to that.There are three lights and the two side ones are adjustable, which makes it really nice.Overall, this has been a great addition and anywhere you need a little extra light where there’s no power, this is a great option.

Please Note: This is an Initial Review. A true assessment of solar charging efficiency, battery lifespan, motion sensor reliability in all weather, and the durability of the ABS housing requires these lights to be installed and monitored for a full seasonal cycle. I have installed one unit, tested all modes via the remote, and observed the initial charge indicator. I will update this review after several months of outdoor exposure to report on long-term performance.This is a 2-pack of solar-powered, motion-activated floodlights. Each unit has three independently adjustable LED heads. The housing is plastic (ABS+PC). The included remote controls mode selection and manual on/off.Key Features & Initial Performance:Three Operational Modes & Remote: The selectable modes (Motion, Dim All-Night, Hybrid) via remote are the primary functional feature, offering flexibility for security or ambient lighting. This is an upgrade over single-mode solar lights.Adjustable Multi-Heads & Battery Indicator: The three rotatable heads allow you to aim light coverage. The integrated LED battery indicator (red/green) is a practical feature for monitoring charge status, which is critical for solar performance.Initial Brightness: At full charge, the COB LEDs are bright and produce a wide, even beam as described.Special Note: The product’s performance is entirely dependent on solar panel placement. The claim of “5–6 hours for a full charge” assumes ideal, direct sunlight. Performance will vary significantly with weather, season, and installation location.Initial Verdict: These lights offer good configurability and brightness for a solar floodlight. The adjustable heads, multiple modes, and charge indicator are thoughtful features. Really bright, easy to hang and use, ea unit comes with a remote!
Really great and super bright, there’s several things I like about these solar flood lights!ProsFirstly, they are nice and bright, you’d never think they were solar-powered! Secondly, super easy to install with the slide on style brackets and included hardware. Then there’s the adjustable lamps, you can turn the side lamps in different directions and basically aim the light in up to pretty much 180 degree angle/area, which makes these great for putting on the corners of your home or garage! The set up is simplistic too, with the following:Mode 1: No Light- High Light upon Motion DetectionMode 2: Dim Light w/Motion Detected to High LightMode 3: Light Stays on Dim LightWhen the solar light remains in Mode 3 for 4 hours, the light will automatically switch to Mode 1.Each unit comes with it’s own remote as well so you can install these high up and change the settings as needed.Another plus is even when the product is turned off, the solar panel will still charge. Good sized solar panel that seems to hold a charge really well so far!ConsThe plastic housing makes these feel a bit cheap and if they survive the winter I’ll be sure to update my review to reflect this. This shouldn’t necessarily be a deterrent, however, since their functionality is really all that matters, plus being all plastic makes them lightweight and easy to hang just about anywhere, so could be considered a positive in some ways. I also did have to tighten the screw/bolt on the solar panel arm as it was really loose.While I plan to use these outside on my garage, I’ve used one in my basement for a couple days now (too cold to go hang them outside right now but I wanted to test them out), I have it set up near the window to get light and man is it neat to have these lights come on automatically when I head downstairs to do laundry! Super bright, lights up the room really well. Very impressive. Really decent for the price point, especially if they hold up to the Northeast cold and weather!
