AMAZING CURTAINS – VERY HEAVY AND GOOD QUALITY
I have tried so many different brands, and all of them either filtered the light and still let it in, let the light in but made it yellow, didn’t work, or had bad texture, but I am blown away by these. They are so soft and very high quality, and they are the length as shown. They fully block out the light. I have sun shining straight in my window, but these literally make it to the point you can’t see anything but black when they are put up. They are a bit hard to install because these curtains are VERY heavy, enough that they could easily bend curtain rods, and they are very wide and extremely high quality and have several layers. They look sleek, nice, and modern.

Really good blackout curtains they work!
My girlfriend got these for our bedroom because I have a hard time sleeping if there’s light coming in the window in the morning. But also, we happen to have a street light right outside and that also bothered me too. We have moved since then, but I still love these blackout curtains. I sleep so much better with them. They actually fully blackout bright light. Not like some of the other others that’s still allow light to pass through. The backside has black fabric. So they are basically double thick. They also work well to help insulate a little bit in the colder months. They look pretty good too. I think I’ve had them since 2021. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend them.

Great Curtains!
Update 9 June, 2022.As we head into blazing heat (heat index next week is 105), I have to say, we are still pleased with these curtains. Our slumlord won’t replace our windows from the Dec. 11 tornadoes (He has to save that $44k in insurance money instead or providing for his tenants) so we have plastic up. With these curtains, it helps so much in keeping the AC in and the heat out. I just opened the curtains just to look out and you can feel an immediate difference. The white color doesn’t stay well at all and gets worse with each wash, but for our heat/Air, it’s worth it.Update – 16 Feb, 2021:Wind chill outside is 1 F. There is a noticeable difference with the curtains closed (we need new windows). These are nice and thick curtains. Also, with the curtains closed, at night with the lights on inside, from outside it looks like everything is off and we’re in bed.Great sound damper too.But when you wash them that great stark white is no more. It gets off-white. And the wrinkles are STILL there. But still great curtain and buying more.I can’t comment on energy efficiency because I just hung them. Wrinkles out of the box but that may disappear with time and washing. These remind me of those heavy drapes we had in the ’70s. These are heavy and thick. Very soft as well.I used the Umbra Twilight double curtain rod. Just in case I wanted to add a darkening liner behind it. Don’t think I’ll need to!I’ll be hanging a valance byt so far these have done well with room darkening.

Very nice curtains, but white version needs redesigning
These curtains are very nice quality. They’re a bit expensive, but thick and well-made for the most part, and they really do offer total blackout capability, even with the blinds open behind them. So in that regard they are well worth the money.I wasn’t able to hang the curtain rod very high above my window, so a bit of light came though at the top, but I helped that by ordering some inexpensive pashmina shawls and folding them into the cracks above the roll-down blinds. With that in place, there’s very little light leakage. And none of that is really the fault of the curtains themselves – I only mention it in case other people have that particular issue. The only caveat I have with these pertains to the pure white color, which is what I originally ordered. I ended up returning those and getting the biscotti beige instead, and I’ll tell you the reasons why, for those who may be considering them. The pure white curtains have a black backing behind them like the others, and the dark color renders the white a cool, grayish tone, which didn’t go well with my more off-white paint. It gave the room a kind of stark, institutional hospital feel, and the curtains looked more like homemade bedsheets hung up than professional curtains. It wasn’t the nice homey feel I was going for at all. Also (and more importantly) the black backing was not sewn all the way up through the rod pocket, which allowed light to shine through the pocket from behind. This cut down on the blackout effect, obviously, and you could see the black, uneven, unfinished hem very clearly, including a lot of untrimmed threads. I found this very distracting and unattractive, so that’s why I returned them. The beige color didn’t have this issue, and is fully blackout-capable.My suggestion to the company would be that they offer these curtains in a nice cream or ivory color, and use a dark brown backing instead of the black, so it doesn’t change the warm tone of the fabric from the front. Sew the backing all the way up through the rod pocket, in order to prevent light leakage.I would also suggest offering a divided rod pocket, since the one provided is maybe two or three inches long, and this is much wider than is necessary for most standard curtain rods. In the case of my apartment, for example, where the window is close to the ceiling and I couldn’t hang the rod very high, it would have been great to have a two-part rod pocket so that I could have used the lower half, which would have created a ruffle at the top that would have blocked more light and increased the blackout effect. This is just an idea for future consideration. In general, though, these are awesome curtains, with the exception of the white color, which really could use some tweaking. Also the fabric seems slightly snaggy – a couple of the panels came with minor snags on them, which I managed to repair by pushing them back in. Not a major deal, but something to be aware of if you have other potentially snagging objects around them.Overall I’m very pleased with these curtains, though, and they do seem to make my apartment noticeably quieter and more insulated than it was before. I’m sure they will do a good job of keeping the heat and cold out year round. As a side note, make sure you have a fairly sturdy rod to hang these on, as they are reasonably heavy by nature. I hung them on the second-cheapest standard white rods from Walmart, and while they do work, I had to mount them very carefully or the rods would try to fold up on me like cardboard. I would hang them at one end, then on the center support, then finally pull the rod out at the other end to attach it to the bracket.I would recommend a more substantial rod if you can afford it. Using the kind that curves around at the ends will increase the blackout effect as well. You may also need to install plastic anchors for the center support, to give it a little more backbone.

A great light blocking curtain
Love these! We have big windows that are old and these not only block the light but the cold and are truly blackout curtains. The price is great too. Heavy duty and a great quality for the price.

Regrese estas cortinas ya que realmente su fabricación deja que desear, la función blackout la cumple, pero el forro es negro, lo que no da la mejor apariencia, las costuras no son las mejores, si es para una ventana que se muy visible en el inmueble no las recomiendo.
