Brighter colors than in photos, high quality rug
Bought the rug because we wanted traditional colors and style, with a decent pile. What arrived was precisely what we wanted. The colors are bright the cream is cream and not beige, the burgundy is burgundy and not red. The burgundy border with the cream center design makes an already large room look even bigger. The material is good and sturdy, will easily last years before it begins to fall apart.Laying flat: it comes rolled up tightly boung and then pressure wrapped, getting it to lay flat requires stretching carpet and placing books or other heavy flat items on it to get it to stay. Then vacuuming the rug a few times to allow areas that bulge to lay completely flat. This is normal. In our case carpet lays atop uneven Mexican tile (uneven on purpose).The style is traditional, not Persian or Oriental but it has plenty of movement in organic design of flower / leaf pattern.The pile is a decent thickness. Soft to the foot. We have high end wool rugs which were woven by hand and these which are machine woven, on the whole I found this to be a decently priced alternative for rooms with more traffic and overall use.It’s a beautiful piece with good quality control. No smudges etc. I would recommend. Easy to get compliments as the rug is handsome without going overboard.UPS delivers which means they’ll throw it on your doorstep but it comes securely wrapped and sealed. I would recommend laying flat, weighing down corners and center and letting it breath and stretch out between 24-48 hours before vacuuming.Overall purchase: Happy. Would recommend.

Lovely, sturdy and affordable
A very nice rug. Classed up the dining room hallway with an oriental flavor between deep mahogany sideboard and table/chairs. Liked the backing which helps make the rug sturdy and it is easily cleaned. Soft and beautiful. Reasonable price too.

Good quality for the price
This rug is actually really nice. I thought it would be flimsy but it’s nice and sturdy. I just put it down, so will need to flatten out a little, but it was really easy to uncurl the edges. The colors are nice and vivid. Very happy with my purchase. Got the 4×6.

Decent for the price
I bought a 6×9 and 3×5 Red/Black for my basement family room. They are decent rugs, for the price. The thickness is nice, they feel good to walk on and they laid flat after only a few days and some vacuuming. I did have to put two-sided tape on the corners, which was no big deal. However, they are both smaller than the description size and the color is not consistent throughout the rug. Some areas of red are darker, some are lighter. There was a very slight “new rug smell” which only lasted a day or so. Overall, for my needs, the rugs looks very nice. I would be hesitant to use them in a brightly lit area where the color variation would be more noticeable or if I needed the sizes to be a described.

First the good, ithas a dense thick piledesign looks greatprice point makes it a good value overallNow on the badI ordered the 8×10 rug, I have never had a rug shipped to me that was both rolled and folded. Which causes it to not lay flat when unpacked. The instructions state you have let it lay without furniture for 24-48 hours. With an 8×10 rug thats a tough thing to do for most people, including myself. But we found a way to work it out, its been 50hrs now and there are still visible ripples. They have mostly disappeared but it will likely take another day to fully lay flat.So be prepared to have your furniture somewhere other than the rug for 2-3 days.The worst thing about this rug is the smell. It doesnt slap you in the face when you open it, but we left for dinner after laying it out and when we returned the house smelled bad. I hit it with Febreeze fabric and hoped it would dissipate pretty quickly, its been 50 hours and it still stinks. To be fair its not rancid, but its like a lingering chemical smell? Hard to describe.Shipping it rolled and folded, forcing the customer to basically not use it for 2-3 days is super inconvenient but I was willing to look past that.I am sure the wrinkles will be gone by tomorrow, I am more worried about the smell than anything. As soon as I enter the living room its immediately noticeable.Due to the size and the fact that I can almost sit furniture on it, I wont be returning it, but had I known these things prior to placing the order, I would have made a different decision.

Rug is as expected – colour is exactly as shown; typical thickness; decent quality. The rug was delivered rolled up and it laid flat immediately except the corners took a bit longer but did flatten. This rug is thick enough with a backing so it doesn’t bunch up. It feels very silky and vacuums up well. I ordered an 8′ x 8′ but it actually measures 92″ square (instead of 96″) but that was okay for my small space. I feel the price matches the quality of the rug. I recommend buying this area rug.
