Great cutting board, a tad pricey
This is a really nice and sturdy cutting board. I really like using this as a charcuterie board. The color looks great. I will say it’s pretty pricey when some of the edges aren’t sanded down enough. This still would make a great gift for someone – it’s built to last and it’s very heavy!I’d recommend this cutting board!

Beautiful, Durable, and Built to Last
I’m genuinely thrilled to review a product that deserves a full five stars. This cutting board is a standout piece! Both visually stunning and impressively functional. It’s the kind of board you can proudly display for guests one day and confidently use to break down a whole chicken the next.Made from solid, premium end-grain, dark walnut, it’s thick (1.5”), heavy duty, and clearly crafted with care. One side functions as a traditional cutting board with a juice groove to catch drips, while the reverse features a beautifully concave charcuterie surface perfect for pizza, meats, cheeses, fruit, or any elegant presentation.I also own the square version of this exact board from the same brand, purchased about two years ago. It’s used multiple times daily and still looks nearly new (see pic with oil and bread). With simple handwashing after use and a coat of mineral oil once a week, these boards hold up exceptionally well. The end-grain construction resists knife marks, warping, splitting, and splintering. Really it’s built like a mini butcher block that can last a lifetime with minimal care.My only minor critique is that the groove edges and handles are slightly rough out of the box. A quick pass with fine sandpaper and a little mineral oil fixes it, but in my experience, the wood naturally smooths over time anyway.It arrives in a beautiful presentation box (though mine took a hit in shipping), making it an excellent gift option. Overall, a gorgeous, durable, and highly functional piece.

Great cutting/ carving board or can be used as a charcuterie board. I love this board and have been looking for one with this design. The board has a generous recess for collecting juices with a raised edge that goes all the way around the board. Most cutting boards have it on one side or halfway around the board and I always end up spilling the juices or gravies. I love that this has an edge that goes all the way around the board so I don’t have to worry about spilling any of those juices when I move it to the table or back to the food prep area.I will use this everyday: as a cutting board, a juice saver, a serving dish for meals, or for charcuterie. It is a great size for cutting a pizza on, and a great size for assorted taco toppings.I have a large Smirly charcuterie set that is great for big parties. And I have a set of Smirly cutting boards that I love, but this will be the one I will go to everyday.Smirly boards are beautiful so you can be proud to serve with them, practical so they can be used in so many ways, and durable enough to stand up to all that daily use.

Beautiful board but not quite worth the premium
The wood is beautiful. The shape and size are great. It’s heavy without being burdensome. The grooves are the perfect dimensions. Having a ridge on the reverse is great. The packaging is even good looking, so it’s a great gift.Four and not five stars only because the finish is less than what you should get for the premium price. It’s good but not perfectly smoothly sanded, and even though it’ll be a knife target its whole life, these should essentially start glossy smooth. Just sand it a tiny bit more and it’s there. The unnecessary branding I think literally branded on I could even forgive if the feel were better initially.Still, great choice overall—especially if you can snag it at a discount.

Nice cutting board.
Very nice cutting board. It is substantial and well-made. The carved out handles are a little rough (esp when compared to the rest of the board) but I’m not going to be toting it around a lot, so it’s not a big deal. Comes in a nice box. I don’t love that the brand logo is imprinted on one side, but luckily it’s small.

Very nice cutting board. After my wife saw it, it became a center piece too .. & cutting board for the grill (maybe). Its a beautiful piece of wood which would make a great gift (unless your significant other wont let you!). Its wrapped very nice and you can smell the walnut when you open the package.Interestingly enough, its become part of the presentation on the table of our steaks, as opposed to just a cutting board. I hope it stays nice looking over time and cuts.
