Great bench even if it’s not very comfortable
This is a pretty good bench. I find it to be sturdy, roomy, well-proportioned, and it looks decent. My main critique is that the seat is not very comfortable. The cushion is not thick enough to offset the bumpy feeling of the decorative buttons. Thankfully no one is sitting there for very long.I initially thought it was cheesy that the cushion is held to the shelving with six double-stick foam pads but it seems to be holding just fine. The whole bench rests on similar foam pads which I might upgrade to magic slider discs.One other small critique is that the adjustable shelves get knocked around easily. In an ideal world they would have used the type of pins that hold the shelf in place from the top and bottom.I’m giving it five stars because at $76 I find it to be priced reasonably for what it is and it serves its purpose just fine.

Sturdy & good quality as expected
Very easy & simple to ensemble with the provided tool. As a 60s woman I did it by myself, without any help in about 2 hrs bc I’m slow!. For the umbrella section you can set on either side, right or left, depends on how you want it to be! This is the most like!It looks nice and neat after done. It’s perfect size for the shoes for each cube and the adjustable two sides for the boots too! Happy with the result and the price!The only thing to I took off 1 star bc the top cushion has been crashed a little bit on the long side some how, but I turn it to the back against the wall so it can not be noticeable! Other than that happy happy! Hope it lasts long!

Takes 1 hour to assemble (not hard). Nice and durable! Looks better in person. I have all size 12 shoes in each compartment. This took care of my front door shenanigans. Go ahead and place your order. It’s worth it!

Beautiful Quality Wood Shoe Bench
The box was heavy carrying. I had to get help. After unboxing the shoe bench, there were many parts. It reminded me of Ikea Furniture putting it together. I can say it took me several hours to put together, as I took many breaks. The tip is to put screws in one section, small wood planks together, and the rest together. You should have 3 sections. Once organized, the instructions shows pictures and which screws to place where. No screwdriver needed, because it comes with its own tool to use in the screws. The wood planks are numbered, so I left them on, just in case I get them confused. It’s helpful! I choose not to add the umbrella part on..It took up space where I would put the bench. I put that piece behind bedroom door separate. Once completed, you will have a beautiful piece of quality wood. The leather pad is gorgeous, and the bench is solid and sturdy to sit on. Also, I choose to leave the left/right partitions out to fit boots. I’m happy with my purchase, and I would buy it again.

Even better than I anticipated
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this. The various size openings fit my walking shoes and my work boots. I don’t have much use for the umbrella/cane holder but it’s a nice touch. I like the rustic look. The biggest surprise was the seat. I expected it to look cheap and not be very good, but it actually looks real nice and the stitching seems okay so far. It has some sticky pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding.Tip: use a power screwdriver on low setting or set the clutch to about 10 and it’ll really speed up the assembly. If you use the provided Allen key, your going to be turning screws for a long time. I didn’t have the right Allen bit, but a T20 bit worked. Don’t over torque them. Also, there’s one step out of order in my opinion. Put the umbrella holder together and attach to the end panel before you finish out the bench or you’ll have a hard time getting to the screws inside.
