Perfect Addition to My Garden!
I absolutely love this bench! The carbonized brown finish gives it a beautiful, rustic look that blends perfectly with my backyard. It’s very sturdy, weatherproof, and comfortable enough for two people to sit on. Assembly was quick and easy, and the size (35.5 inches) is perfect for small garden spaces or porches. We bought this for our hot stream room it was easy to put together with the exception of one bolt that stripped out first try, the wood is soft but supposed to hold up well in the steam

Darling solid wood garden bench
Really cute garden bench. It’s solid wood and took about 10 minutes to assemble—just 14 screws. It feels very sturdy and the pieces fit together nicely. The kit came with extra hardware and the Allen wrench needed for assembly. It’s the rustic style I was looking for to provide some extra seating around my fire pit. The finish is smooth and the wood has a lot of character with knots and variation. I’ll pull it in during the winter to keep the finish nice. It says it can be coated with polyurethane as needed for weatherproofing, so I’ll plan on that to keep it looking good. It would look great in any garden!

Sturdy but know you’re getting cheap soft pine
Silly me, I thought this might be anything more than a very soft wood since the listing said cedar. It’s pine. The good news: It’s plenty sturdy, the pilot holes all lined up (you push the legs together, the cross bars aren’t too short) and it was easy to put together. The bad news: the wood is so soft it’s easy to overscrew and it splinters if anything snags it (another sign it’s not cedar). But since it’s here, I applied a thick layer of teak oil since it will be outdoors, but I don’t expect it to last more than a few seasons. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised?
