It was time to do some changes in our living room, one thing I wanted to add over our new fireplace was a large floating shelf or mantel. I was hoping to find a “rustic brown” floating shelf. It needed to be a certain width for the decor I planned to put on the shelf. After researching a good number of choices, I found this one made by the HUNGSMART store. Based on the details and the visuals, this looked like a great option. I ordered this and now that I have this home and installed – I will tell you that this has definitely exceeded my expectations.*Special features that are noteworthy of mention:-60-inch Engineered wood Floating Shelf-Natural Walnut finish – other choices in finish are available-11.8″ deep in terms of width-finish types: Black Walnut, Black Walnut with insert, Natural Walnut, Natural Walnut with insert, Oak, and Oak with insert- Supports up to 300 lbs.-made with a very heavy-duty steel called Q253-laser welding – they used best machines to create a very strong and durable shelving unitAll in all, I find that the designer of this floating shelf did an outstanding job. Very Nice, Extremely Heavy!
There’s no way to hang this other than directly into studs or concrete. This is a solid piece of wood/plastic board. It is really nice and gives you a lot of space

I am so happy that I purchased this shelf! I replaced a shabby floating entertainment center with this and It’s the best thing I did. I have a UST projector in my game room and anyone that has one knows that it requires a certain height if you want to get the whole picture. My old one was 3 inches off but was already close to the floor. This solved everything and it looks amazing! Highly recommended

It is very heavy. You will need to make sure you hit a stud in you wall to hang this. The brackets are great and it is very easy to install. Just amazing color and wood.
