Good Quality, Sturdy system
We have had this system installed for about a month now. Installation was fairly straight forward, quality of the cameras is solid, they do not feel flimsy at all. So far they have held up to the swings of midwest temperatures as well as the winds. Picture quality is very good and we are able to see even on our low light street. We did have a little issue with the warning lights staying on but it was easy to rectify. The app is a little tricky for a second user but that could be user error. App functionality is good and reports any motion detection right away. For the cost i believe this was a good investment for a POE system.

Excellent 4K Security System
I’m really happy with my LongPlus Smart 4K Home Security Camera System. I initially purchased this camera system and a different one, then decided to go with this one in February 2025 after much contemplating. (The 4k sold me.)The picture quality is super clear, both day and night. Installation was easy but a bit time consuming with trying to figure out where to run the cables— I ended up running a 100 ft ethernet cable so I could have the NVR system connected directly to my TV. Now, I have the cameras on Live streaming on the TV and can access via phone with no need to purchase cloud services.I purchased a 8TB hard drive, for continuous 24/7 recording, and playback is smooth and simple through the app or NVR. I also want to give a special shoutout to Zoey from customer support — she was awesome! She answered all my questions quickly and helped me update the camera software without any hassle.Overall, I’m really impressed with this system. Great quality, great price, easy setup, and excellent customer service. Definitely worth the purchase if you want a reliable wired 4K security setup for your home.

This is an excellent security camera system for both price and quality. I have installed many high end security camera systems and this system is equal in quality, functionality, resolution, and is easy to setup and navigate at 1/3 the cost of the high end systems.

Great Value and quality!!
Purchased this camera to replace an old system. The camera was very easy to set up and mount. I was able to quickly download the app as well as my wife and son. The picture quality is excellent both day and night. The camera has detect features and sensitive settings which I have tweaked to my liking. Zoey from customer support was great and answered questions I had. These cameras are a good value considering the quality. You can also add to a screen within your home as well.

Cameras have a wire connection that hangs up. Poor design. Camera has an ‘up’ indication but does not move in that position.

Works perfectly for what I need.
I have used several different video systems. This one is easy to install and easy to operate. I was skeptical of being able to access historical videos remotely from my phone WITHOUT paying for cloud services. The system does just that. I had to reach out to Zoey for some guidance, but got a quick response and solved my issue.

The LongPlus Wired Security Camera System 4K, 8CH NVR 8MP Home Security System, 4 Dome PoE Cameras, LED Spotlight Color Night Vision, Flashing LED Alarm Lights, 2.8mm Lens, 132° FOV, 2-Way Audio, 2TB HDDis an excellent all in one kit to get you started in video surveillance.It comes with four (4) ‘dome’ cameras with 60′ Ethernet cable for each.Each camera has a mounting bracket and weather proof shroud for the Ethernet connection making everything suitable for outdoor installations.It even has a few extra RJ-45 ends if you are savvy enough to be able to crimp them on in the event one gets damaged or you want to shorten up the cable.The NVR is small, compact, lightweight and works great.It is easy and intuitive to setup. It comes with a 2TB hard drive which is plenty given that the recording can be setup for motion so only the important things are captured.I removed the black metal top of the case by removing seven (7) screws to reveal the inside; the HDD is a standard 3.5″ computer hard drive so it would be easy to get another if you needed larger storage.The intelligent motion detection (people, pet, cars etc) seems to work well. You can even search for these specific events and get a result of video clips that match making it very easy to find certain activities.All functions of the NVR can be accessed via a web browser so you don’t have to setup the NVR in a conspicuous spot, put it wherever all the cables will reach and don’t worry about it. Put it in a closet or basement out of sight!The camera image is crisp, sharp and clear.These cameras are not PTZ so no ability to change the position remotely. You have to manually set the position.The screen image can NOT be rotated in software (the selection box is greyed out) so again, be sure to put the camera in the exact position you need. Not a big deal if you are able to reach the camera at any time but if you are mounting them up high be sure you review the image.The cameras feature two-way audio but only from the phone app. I could not find a way to send audio from the web browser to the camera. I can hear the camera audio from the web browser no problem.The phone app was easy to download and setup and works great. It instantly notifies me of motion alerts.The NVR’s IP can be set to static or DHCP but in DHCP there’s nothing anywhere to indicate what IP it obtained from your router so you have to hunt it down. Would have been easy for them to include it in the information screen.The white light on the cameras can NOT be turned on by the user, only motion at night can trigger it. Which is fine I suppose but it would be nice to be able to turn it on manually.The NVR can handle an additional four (4) cameras so eight (8) in total for a very good surveillance area.The power supply is ETL listed so good high quality components.The kit includes an HDMI cable, USB mouse and short Ethernet cable to connect the NVR to a router or network switch, literally everything you need to get up and going, just need a TV, monitor or display for the initial setup.Overall, a complete kit and works well and is great for home or business security.Maybe a bit pricey at ~$680 at the time of this review but you are getting high quality components.

Excellent security system for home or commercial use.It is important to note this is a wired camera system using CAT cables and RJ45 jacks, the cameras are POE (Power over ethernet) supplied, so no cable = no power, you do get 4 CAT cables of 60′ to wire the 4 supplied cameras. I checked with the seller and they confirmed the system can handle camera placement over 600′ away, but you will need a 600′ CAT cable (Not Supplied)CamerasWhile having to hardwire these cameras you might think this is a pain, but the benefits are immediately evident.- Immediate video and audio with no delay like WiFi cameras- The video quality (Day and Night) is incredible, far superior to anything you have seen in the past with basic WiFi cameras as you can take advantage F2.8mm lens, 8MP CMOS sensor and a 132 degree field of view all which give you true 4K video and recordings.- The cameras are suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement- The cameras are unidirectional, so you cannot redirect them to change your field of view but with a 132 degree FoV you really don’t need to- They are easy to mount, it’s just the cable run you need to consider and workThe deck- The deck is excellent, expandable up to 8 cameras, there are video and audio ports for a monitor and speakers, also a mouse port- 2TB built in recording capacity, expandable to 10TB on board, with additional cloud storage options ( with subscription), but the deck has H.265+ compression which more than doubles the onboard 2TB and retains the maximum video qualityFeaturesThe system has all the features you might want and ever need…- App sync to your phone or tablet via a router- Alerts and notifications- Two way audio- Audio alarm and light warning settings ( which are customizable for each camera)- and much moreThis is just an excellent and feature loaded 8 camera capable (4 supplied) hardwired security system, please do not compare this system with the inexpensive WiFi cameras or video doorbells, there is no comparison, this is a true full blown video surveillance security system, that can and will do everything you might need for your residence or the commercial properties you are trying to protect
