Hiseeu 4k POE camera system
Hello people, I would like to relay my experience with a Hiseeu product. On Christmas day of 2024 my wife gave me a Hiseeu H5NVR-P16A bundle (POE NVR with 8 PTZ 4K/5MP cameras and 3T HDD) for a present. It was to replace an aged “OWL” system that was fading fast. About a week after Christmas, I unboxed it, set it up and tested it on the kitchen table. It worked perfectly and it was very well packaged, a tribute to the manufacture. Even though the manual that came with it was easy to read and very clear, I decided to use the informative and easy to understand “wizard” in setting it up. I changed the factory default password to mine, repackaged it and set it aside. It was cold and rainy out and not a good time to set it up outside. It was the end of February that I found warm enough days to start installing it. This was the first time I had had anything to do with POE and PTZ systems and can’t really compare it to others but the NVR and cameras impressed me with their quality of build. At the start of the installation is when the horror set in. I had forgotten my password. How am I going to get back in to the system? I went to the Hiseeu web site and used the chat option to get in touch with “Johnny” who worked for a total of about 4 hours to get me back in to no avail. He then kicked me up to “Jane” who explained it all again, and then to “Rus” who tried diligently also, with no luck. All of their instructions were very clear and correct explaining to download the app in the manual and proceed from there, (They were kind, I found this out by reading the manual again more closer). I then started thinking about it and discovered that I had downloaded the wrong app. I downloaded the right app and the rest of the procedure got me back in and can now use the system. I have to commend Hiseeu’s support they are the best and their system in exceptional. It is clear, does every thing as advertised, and has all the bells and whistles. I made the stupid mistake of buying this product. I ordered in May but I wasnt able to install it until some people stole 2K worth of tools from my shed on September, from the beginning I was having issues, one camera will take time to connect or it wont connect at all, then today I realized that my cameras were not recording, I checked it out and it says there is no hard drive, well immediately try contacting customer support, which they never pick up, so I had to chat with someone, well that person ask me which plug I was using, which Im using the one provided, then they wanted me to open the systems and check the hard drive, sending me videos as to how, why would I want to do all that? I didnt spend money to play technician!! and all this was while I was ask to send pictures of the setting etc etc, at the end they said it must be the hard drive! the HARD DRIVE MALFUNCTION IN 2 WEEKS! now I have to wait for them to send me, not a new system, no, just a new hard drive that I will have to install myself, what a piece of junk, I swear if I could return this I will do it in a heartbeat and purchase something better, I feel ripped off

image quality
I’m very satisfied with the camera quality. Was easy to set up. Plug and play. The PoE cables worked flawlessly, no lagging. The menu was user friendly but sections requires some in depth knowledge about IT related terms. Quality is great, and the real test was in the night using infrared features. It’s really clear and digital zoom also isn’t pixelated as some cameras. Overall it’s a good camera but I am not going to give 5 stars as yet, as one dome camera was leaking, apparently the seal is compromised. I contacted customer service and they took about a day to respond and promised they will send a replacement. When the replacement comes I will always come back and give 5 stars.

I purchased this camera system in the summer of 2024 and installed it shortly after. The installation was easy. The package came with plenty of cable to route the cameras. My place is over 4500sqft and I was worried I would have to buy longer cables, but they were plenty long enough especially considering that the main system and DVR is located on one side of the house.Quality of the cameras are great. This unit comes with two types, both high resolution and great colour.I did have an issue with one camera, but Hiseeu was very quick to respond to my support request. I have never bought anything off amazon before that required support, so I was not sure what to expect, but as mentioned, support was quick and they promptly sent me a replacement camera.Overall, great quality camera with great support.

The Hiseeu POE camera system is exactly what I was looking for. Very good quality . They work great as advertised (clear video, great motion detection, intrusion, human and vehicle detection, clear night vision) . It has audio and video recording. You can also talk through the camera in case you’re away and see something happening.The software is very easy to navigate, the wizard is very helpful for the initial setting. Guard viewer is the app you can use to monitor your place remotely. You only need internet for the mobile app. The system notifies you right away it depends on how you set it. You can also make some areas private. I’m happy.

I ordered their products first in January 2023. The cameras are working fine since then with no issues whatsoever. I ordered later two of their 8 cameras system and NVR systems late july 2024. The installation of the systems was delayed until early December. Three of the 8 dome cameras failed late in January 2025. I don’t know if it was moisture or ice infiltration related. I contacted Hiseeu and 5 days later I received the replacement cameras promptly. They did not even bother to ask me why or how they failed. A few days ago, two more cameras died due to water infiltration. Although my warranty expired, Hiseeu decided to replace the cameras free of charge. What a good service. With Canada cold environment, it is probably a good idea to surround the ethernet connection unit with a good caulking even if its is supposed to be IP67 Waterproof.This is the kind of service that one should expect from a reliable and responsible manufacturer that will encourage you to order again and again from them.
