Beautiful, Sturdy, and easy to assemble
I love this chair. It was easy to assemble which took about 30. min. to do. The only tool needed is an Alan wrench which was included in the box. The best thing to do is lay out all the parts and organize them keeping the labels from the screws and bolts as some are different lengths so it’s easy to install the wrong ones. The directions are good and point out what screw to use. The chair after assembly is comfortable and sturdy. I’m a fairly large male and I fit into it without any discomfort. Not sure if it would be large enough for bigger people with a wider beam? This chair is no smaller than any other chairs I have. It’s extremely sturdy due to making sure all screws were tight but NOT over tightened which is possible so be careful of that. Overtightening will strip out the holes and have the opposite effect. These HDPE chairs should last a long time with little fading. If you live in the the desert and they are in the scorching sun all day they will fade slightly over the years but they won’t rot or suffer any water damage. This is a good value for the price. 5 stars. I will update this review if needed. I have a few HDPE chairs and lounges and these are the best way to go for longevity through my experience.

This chair looks like classic wood from a distance, but once you touch it, you realize it’s that all-weather HDPE—basically “faux wood that doesn’t throw a tantrum outside.”The frame and slats feel solid and dense, not hollow, and the armrests actually give you somewhere to put your elbows instead of just existing for decoration. It has enough weight that it doesn’t feel flimsy, but it’s not so heavy that you hate moving it around the patio.Seat comfort is better than I expected for a hard chair. The shape has a slight curve instead of that dead-flat slab a lot of outdoor chairs have, so you can sit for a while without instantly wishing for a cushion. Add a thin pad and it becomes an easy “sit through dinner and keep talking” kind of chair.The big perk is the low-maintenance factor. Wipe it down, hose it off, done. No sealing, no staining, no guilt about leaving it out in the rain. The grey color is that neutral that goes with just about anything—wood tables, black metal, white cushions—so it’s easy to mix into whatever you already have.If you want something that looks put-together but you’re not trying to babysit real wood furniture every season, this hits a very practical sweet spot.

Really sturdy
This chair is sturdy and built to last. It’s strong and heavy. I usually think of HDPE furniture as being lighter somehow than other furniture. Nothing could be further from the truth with this chair. It is rock solid and looks nice. It’s pretty comfortable as is but for long sits over a leisurely meal I want a cushion on it. I typically want a cushion on most chairs if I’m going to be sitting a while, and the seat on this is particularly rigid. But you might be fine cushionless.It has been outside in rain, a little bit of snow and quite excessively high winds and had held up just fine. It looks as good as new and is easy to wipe off which I appreciate.The build was pretty straightforward. No issues and went together relatively quickly with two of us working on it.BOTTOM LINE: this is a pretty straightforward no frills chair that is sturdy and solid. So far it’s holding up well outside. The build was easy enough and it looks good. What more could you want from a chair
