I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this bookcase! From the moment it arrived, assembly was straightforward and hassle-free. The instructions were clear, all parts were labeled properly, and I was able to put it together solo in just a couple of hours without any special tools.The finished product is sturdy, attractive, and looks more expensive than it actually was. I really appreciate the mix of open shelving for books and decor, along with the cabinet space below for hidden storage. Shelves are 13 inches by 29 inches
I was a little nervous purchasing this since there were some mistakes in the listing and some missing information – but I think it turned out fine. I bought this for one reason only, I needed a bookshelf with deep and long shelves for storing my board game collection – shockingly hard to find and it does the job. Thank you to all the posters with images.It comes with everything needed to assemble, including a magnetic screwdriver. All the parts where the right size and the connections all lined up for assembly. I put to together by myself, but there are definitely a couple steps that would be easier with two.Some missing and corrected specifications:* Product is 36KG (not pounds), the box is 40KG* The shelves are 13 inches by 29 inches* The backing is just thin cardboard* The finish is that paper lament stuff common in this price range* The finish is also smoother looking that some of the product photos* The top board matches the color of the unit (some product images must be out of date)* The wood ranges in quality depending on the part, but it’s all that glued together pulp stuff.I’m really hoping the piece holds up. It is nicer looking cheap furniture, or XL cheap furniture – as long as that is your expectation I think you will feel good about your purchase.

Recommend-Pretty and Sturdy
Easy to put together when you have a great husband willing to tackle it for you. The shelf looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and fits my space perfectly. My husband usually hates building things, but he got this one done pretty quickly, and he is handy, so that helped.

A great, tall bookcase
Well, after looking at a lot of bookcases, I finally settled on this. I made the right decision. It is a very stout bookcase, with enough depth to store your reading materials and to set a few other things on it as well. The doors at the bottom hide two more shelves to store away larger albums and such.It shipped quickly but the box had a tear on the side. The side panel of the bookcase ended up being chipped. It was small, but noticable since the wood is a light color beneath the dark exterior. It was not enough for me to go through the trouble of packing it up and sending it back. I can fill the chip in with a dab of paint.Overall, though, I am very happy with the bookcase. I think it looks very nice and holds my items quite well.

Easy to assemble, Very good quality, and totally satisfied with this purchase.
Might have been risky ordering 2 at one time, but the ad answered all my concerns. Arrived promptly and assembled the first bookcase. Couple small set backs because I didn’t look close enough at the pictures. Easily corrected and assembled. Recommended a 2 person job so it took me a little longer but I did not need help. The 2nd bookcase went together with no issues. Each fastener is packaged separate and labeled. Each fastener has several spares incase of losing one – seriously, can’t remember the last time a company ever included this – I was amazed! Kit came with a great functional screwdriver and allen wrench that actually worked. 100% satisfied. 100% recommend the vendor and product.

Nice Bookcase but Takes Forever to Assemble
The end result is nice and I really like the bookshelf; however, it took me 4 hours to assemble it. The directions are OK, just photos with a few notes here and there. You really need to see which side is “up” and the photos don’t always show which side is the side you should be working on. Having said that, I’m 58 and put it together all by myself. You really need two people at some parts of the process but I was impatient and somehow put the top half on the bottom half by myself. So, it can be done, but I recommend you having someone near to help you with that step.In terms of assembly, the D screws that need to be added to the top with the wrench (provided) did not go in the wood. I am not sure why, but I couldn’t get them all the way into the wood. So, I just continued assembling without them. I don’t think it really mattered so if you have the same problem, just go without those screws. It did not impact the end result. I didn’t understand how the clips go on in the back, so didn’t add them either. Despite these two issues, the bookshelf is sturdy and didn’t seem to need them.
