Affordable and fantastic!
Bought these lights to put up in my backyard for a party I was hosting and it lit up the yard perfectly and everyone thought they were the bees knees. It also made my backyard look very elegant and they aren’t obnoxiously bright. They are affordable and provide the perfect ambiance and are extremely easy to set up! The photo with the lights turned on at night is two months after installation and they work perfectly!

An affordable lighting option that goes a long way
These lights are fantastic. I bought a couple sets, one for our screened in porch and the other for a firepit project I just completed. They’re bright enough to give off some ambient light but not too bright that they’ll blind you at night and ruin the mood. LEDs will last forever as long as you can keep water out of them. I live where we get all 4 seasons: freezing temperatures, snow and ice along with rainy spring seasons and hot, humid summers – so time will tell how they hold up. The bulb housings are plastic so they should be durable long term and you don’t have to worry about breaking them. Each set come with a couple spare LED bulbs and housings which is a nice touch, be sure to hold on to those.50ft are going for $27 right now with a 30% off coupon, I can’t find anything negative about these and for the price if I had to replace them every couple years I wouldn’t be too upset about it.The ones on the porch are connected to a remote switch that I can control from inside, and the ones over the firepit are plugged into a dusk/dawn sensor to come on every night. I ran wire in conduit up the side of the post to an outlet so that way I didn’t have the bulbs running down the side of the post making it look tacky. There isn’t a huge distance between where your plug is and where the first light starts, so take that into consideration for your project. You’d want to avoid using extension cords in a situation like this as that’s just another spot for water ingress. These make for great ambient lighting next to our pool and give off enough light to keep people from tripping on stuff in the yard.This is such a simple project that will make a world of difference to your entertaining space, guests will absolutely love these and want to pick up a set for their place.

Great. Thought they stopped working but the dogs unplugged the power cord.
Very bright and don’t get hot. It gets very dark in the winter here in Alaska and I want as much light outside as possible for my dogs. I strung these along my deck rails using zipties and I honestly could believe how much light they put off in the yard. I bought 2 sets but thought 1 was enough but I bought 2 more sets. It even came with an extra bulb. I have them on a Dusk to Dawn timer and will add Xmas lights next month by using paperclips to the zipties I installed these lights with. 60 years in Alaska and I hate the dark of winter, these help a lot. Recommend.

This company stands behind their product. I had some lights go out and when I contacted them. To buy replacement bulbs, they sent me my replacements at no charge! They honor their warranty. They responded immediately and were a pleasure to work with. Just in time for our patio to look great for Christmas.

1 bulb was flaky out of the box. But comes with 2 spare bulbs. Is that a good or bad sign?
I needed 150′ of lighting, so I purchased this 100′ strand and a 50′ strand. The 100′ is just two 50’s packaged together. So in total, I have (3) 50′ strands of these lights.Right out of the box, one of the bulbs was failing. It was a dimly lit flicker, as if there was a bad connection. The manufacturer, Addlon, seems to supply a spare bulb for every 50′ strand. So I used one of the three spare bulbs that were shipped. For good measure, Amazon also suggested a 3yr extended warranty for a few bucks, so I took that as well.Overall, I have no complaints with the lights. At first, I wasn’t certain I was going to like the 3′ spacing between bulbs, but now that I have ’em strung up, it’s fine. The ONLY thing I kinda wish is for them to be dimmable. But that typically requires a more expensive LED assembly and dimming-capable controller. So in that respect, I’d say these bulbs are pretty bright! They still remain a warm color temp, but their luminosity is a bit higher than I’d like.Probably the most important(?) part of planning your lights is determining what overall pattern you want, and then figuring out how to run the lights for the least amount of overlap AND ensure that where ever you start your planning, you do it where it’s going to get plugged in. Otherwise, you’ll have spent a lot of effort stringing up your lights only to realize that you now have to run an extension cord to reach the beginning of the plug. Also, unless you have an exact number of footage equal to 50′ increments, you’re going to have overlapping bulbs (or gaps). So consider in your plan where you’re going to take up some slack so that where there is overlap, they are evenly spaced in between the existing bulbs.
