Very nice on a budget….
While I debated on giving it four stars, I thought maybe I’m just being a brat and gave it five stars instead. For the price, it’s a great little coffee table. Perfect for people who are on a budget or just starting out with their own place. The reason why I considered giving it four stars is more of an OCD issue than anything else lol. After putting the whole thing together and then putting the drawers in on one side there’s a gap between the drawer and the frame.. but that gap isn’t on the other side. And that just bothers me LOL but I’m sure I’ll totally forget about it. Things like this bother me but not enough to feel like I got to return something.I actually had purchased an entertainment cabinet, two side tables, and this coffee table all separately; but, they all ended up working very well together. I’ll include pictures of the side tables and the entertainment cabinet (even though they are not part of this purchase) just to give you ideas of how you can pair these with other furniture and make it work. All of these were separate purchases for me and yet they all worked so well together.The drawers slide in and come out with ease. Like, I’ve never had drawers that were so easy to install. They just slid right in like butter.Keep in mind that this is not a pure white. It is definitely an off-white. And you don’t notice it so much until you actually start pairing it with things that actually are white. Not a deal-breaker for me, but it might matter for you (because we know that women can definitely spot ten different shades of white LOL).I did put this together by myself. It required a lot of patience and it definitely took more time to put together than had I had somebody helping me. It also worked in my favor that I have a lot of experience putting furniture together like this because I have bought several pieces like this for myself or put them together for other family members. There was definitely a moment putting this table together that I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get it done by myself but some problem solving allowed me to move forward and get past that hurdle. I just say this as a heads up because, if you don’t have experience putting bulky items like this together by yourself, you want to make sure that you have somebody who can help you before you make such a large purchase.I cannot comment on longevity because I haven’t even had the opportunity to use it, yet. It’s definitely not “real wood” and so you’ll want to use caution regarding scratches and cleaning. You’ll definitely want to use coasters!I would not put much in the drawers because the bottoms of the drawers are a step up from strong cardboard, to be honest. It is not going to hold a lot of weight, and could easily snap in two.I like that it’s not an overly large coffee table, but not too little, either. I also like that it does not have a lot of detail work on it, making it easier to dust.Should anything change with it down the road, I will try to remember to update this review.

Poor quality, defective parts – DO NOT BUY
Poor quality. I have assembled a lot of furniture in my time, and I kept running into places where you could not get a tight fit. Then two hours in, I realized one of the parts had been put together incorrectly at the factory – the drawer track was on the wrong side, the finished edge was opposite of where it was supposed to be, and because there were no holes in the unfinished edge, it couldn’t be attached.I have asked for a replacement part, because how exactly would I return something that won’t fit in my car, that I can’t lift by myself? It has been two weeks, emailing back and forth with their customer service, asking for a date by which they would send the replacement. When they eventually get back to me it’s to say yes, we’ll send it…. and then they don’t. Meanwhile I’ve had a half-assembled coffee table in my living room.If you want a do it yourself coffee table, get it from Ikea. Their stuff comes together correctly and their customer service is great.Update: Five weeks and still no missing part. I have since realized there are FOUR more pieces that were manufactured incorrectly – the drawer bottoms and the drawer pulls. I have someone from Thumbtack who claims he can fix it…. for $190 – double the original price. No thanks. It’s going in the trash.

Certainly was not the easiest build I could ask for but not the hardest. Patience, tons of caffeine, and you can have together in as little as 2 weeks! (kidding). It did take a little longer than it normally would for basic wood furniture even from that big box store from Sweden. However, I succeeded and it looks great! The size is decent and it’s now sturdy as wellnot about to fall apart (hopefully) and the farmhouse look could be construed as “rustic” as well just so it fits your particular decor.The drawers come in handy for stuffing more stuff into the drawers that hold more stuff so you have more stuff stuffed into the drawers that hold all that stuff. I mean who doesn’t need more stuff stuffed into more drawers? All kidding aside it actually is very nice feature for a coffee table that not all come with in the first place. In the end of the build and in place it looks great and fits nicely in the living room.Price to value (PVR) for this item is EXCELLENT because if you put together correctly it’s solid and will hold up for a long time to come!
