Set up in on/off fixture 1st, move to lamp w/3-way switch, & set it on highest setting
So far so good! Great not having to go thru 3rd party app to control – just wish they came in a higher wattage equivalent (75w). Had to get used to adding routines to the Alexa app vs schedules in other apps, but think i have it figured out. They are bright but the fixtures i have them in have linen colored shades so that dampens things & i keep the color at warm white – cant stand daylight, cool white or sunlight – looks too office/medical environment vs home. Easy to install & connect to my home network & Alexa. Learned real quick to install first in a regular fixture for setup vs one with a 3 way switch like a lamp. They save me money because now i can free up smart plugs that used to control these fixtures for other projects. Working out well so far & will see if they turn off/on as scheduled over the next couple of days..

Great Smart Bulb
The Amazon Basics A19 Filament LED Bulb came well packaged and unbroken. The directions were clear and easy follow. The bulb and my Alexa device connected right away with no head scratching. The light turns on or off just by telling Alexa to turn it on or off. The light is bright and makes controlling the tall lamp a easy especially for mobility challenged folks. I highly recommend this product.

So excited to make custom lights!
Sometimes you want to have ambient light but sometime it needs white light when outside is so dark even daytime. This will just that. Not only looks funcy, the function is great and easy to set up since I have Alexa device and apps handy. As soon as attached the bulb, my notifications on the phone pop up and minutes later by clicking and next button, grouping room, and routine, all set. Highly recommend!

Stopped connecting after 2 days.
Worked for two days then became unresponsive. Tried resetting the bulb multiple times (on and off 6 times until it flashes), removed it from my devices, and tried re-adding it. It refuses to connect to Wifi. Returning and buying a reputable brand.

If you creating a “smart” house, stick with Amazon accessories when possible. Once I plugged these in, scanned the QR code, and then told Alexa what to name it, I was done in less than 5 mins and they work perfectly.FYI – you have to scan a QR code, so don’t throw away the instructions as I THINK each bulb has its own unique QR code, so I labeled and kept each user manual. Whether or not that’s necessary, I don’t know.
