Been using it for a month now and it’s been working great. Installation was fairly easy. Programming is a little odd sometimes. Some entries have to be done with the deadbolt “locked/engaged” and others have to be done with it “unlocked” and it can be confusing to remember which is which. Other than that, the lock itself seems to be good quality.

Reset might be required before install
Easy to install with one caveat. If the lock isn’t at factory reset settings when installing it might not do rehanding properly. The programming code would only work with the door locked and would unlock when pushing the lock button and lock when pressing the unlock. I fixed this by installing batteries with the lock not connected to the keypad and pushing the reset button

DO NOT BUY! Barely Functions as a Lock! Picks Open On a Single Pin!
I honestly don’t know what to say. This HAS to be a quality control error, but if that’s the case, I would avoid this lock anyway.It uses a KwikSet KW1 keyway, that’s fairly normal. But it utilizes it in the worst way possible. I was able to open it by picking it on a single pin.No special binding order, just apply some tension, hit pin 5, and turn it open. I haven’t been picking locks for very long, only a few years now and this is, by far, the easiest lock to open that I’ve ever run across.Other than that, it looks the part! It seems like it should be super secure and will probably ward off most would-be burglars. But this isn’t something I’d recommend for ANYONE to use in ANY application.It’s THAT bad!I wouldn’t even trust it to lock a 3 year old out of a room.

Great Lock… Better than name brands
I have “brand” name electronic lock on my door that I spent well over $100 for. I wanted to get my parents one, but wanted to save so money so I tried this one. I am so mad that I spent the money on my “brand” name one. This lock is great.Pros:It looks very nice. I purchased the satin nickle and it adds a very sleek look to the door.Very easy to install and program. Honestly it took about 8 mins to remove the old lock and add the new.Super easy to use. Punch in your code and it automatically unlocks. To lock, just push one button.Cons: (Not really any, just a few observations)The part of the lock on the inside of the door is large. It take up about 8 inches on space on the back.If you live in a humid climate, like I do you may have to pull the doorknob when the lock opens and closes due to the wood swelling. The lock won’t lock or retract if it hits resistance.Overall I love this lock. It looks great, works well, and is easy to use and install. For the price you can’t beat it; in fact Amazon could raise the price (please don’t) and it would still be worth it. I will be buying more and putting them on all my exterior doors.

Installation was relatively straightforward for someone with a basic understanding of DIY, taking about 20 minutes to swap out an existing deadbolt. It fit perfectly on my standard 1-3/8 inch door. The keypad itself is responsive, and programming the user codes was intuitive enough, though the instructions were a bit sparse on advanced features. I appreciate the ability to set up to six user codes, which is ample for family members, plus the option for a temporary single-use code for contractors or visitors—a thoughtful touch. The automatic locking feature, adjustable from 10 to 99 seconds, is a real convenience, ensuring you never second-guess whether you’ve locked up after leaving. While the touch control is nice, there’s always the backup of a traditional key, and the thumb turn on the inside feels solid. It’s not the most feature-rich electronic deadbolt on the market, but for basic, reliable keyless entry, it certainly gets the job done.

This lock works great, easy to install as it is retrofitting another deadbolt I had on the lock so no drilling needed! A good idea to check the backset centre of hole distance before installing, I had to remove the backseat after I installed it as it comes preset at 2 1/8” centre & my door hole centre was 2 3/4”.

Es super fácil de instalar si ya lo haz hecho antes, sino solo sigue el manual y listo. Usa 4 pilas doble A, programar hasta 10 códigos, y en mi caso active la opción de cerrado automático (default dd 30 segundos pero puedes editarlo y poner de 10 a 99 segundos). Le doy un 10, compre la garantía extendida de Amazon por otros 35 pesos, así que contento.

Overall, I like this lock now that I have it installed. As for installation, it was pretty simple once I had the proper hole drilled in my door. That was the hard part. I had too small of a hole from my previous lock and I have a metal door. I had to go purchase a jig from, lets say, a big box store to drill the hole properly. I had never done that before, but it wasn’t the worst thing I have ever done, and it turned out ok. For those complaining of electrical issues with this device, I am going to venture a guess you might have used lithium-based batteries? Even though right on the lock there is a safety label stating to use alkaline batteries only? I don’t know. Could be something else. I am just guessing, of course. At any rate, I put this on my garage, and I am enjoying the in and out with no key thing very much. Not sure I am ready for one on my house yet. So, why only 4 stars, you ask? Well, there are videos out there showing how easy these locks are to pick. But then again, most deadbolts are somewhat easy to pick, so I’m not overly concerned about that. After all, as most people say, if someone is determined to get into your place, most locks aren’t going to stop them anyway. This is just one more of those conveniences that I am willing to look past the negatives.
