Works well in holding the patio umbrella.
These are pretty sturdy, although if you live in a high wind area as I do.You need to also add a couple bricks to it to keep the umbrella from toppling over. Lasted a few years, but gets weathered if left outside, so best to store it in a shed or somewhere inside in the off-season.

Amazon Basics Patio Umbrella
The umbrella should work nicely once I’m able to use it outside. Since receiving the umbrella. The cold and snow have prevented me from putting it to use. But I have checked it out and here are my observations.The umbrella is sturdy, yet not overly heavy. I’ve owned a large patio umbrella in the past, and they are very similar in construction. But failing to roll down my old umbrella before some heavy winds resulted in a damaged umbrella and patio table. So, a word of caution.The umbrella pole is the right diameter to fit most umbrella bases. The pole is made of aluminum, which makes it lightweight, though strong. The umbrella material is thick enough to last at least several seasons if you store it during the winter months if you live in one of the northern states. If you’re in an area where you use it year-round. The elements will take their toll over time. So, the useful life will vary.The umbrella crank worked smoothly and easily raised and lowered the umbrella. The push button tilt also worked without issue. When titled, remember that the umbrella will tend to be more vulnerable to the wind. The stitching on the shade material was tight and there were no rips or damage to the metal supports. I found the umbrella to be well constructed and a decent value. But I did find some comparables that were slightly cheaper.Overall, I feel that this umbrella is a worthwhile purchase.

Lovely 10ft umbrella that will shade your table either upright or tilting!
I really like this umbrella. I got the 10 foot tan one and bought the matching base because I knew that it would fit the umbrella without any difficulty. The price for a 10 foot umbrella is excellent (as is the price for the umbrella base). and the umbrella is both sturdy and well constructed. When placed in the base it shows as being clearly well constructed and very stable and unlikely to blow over. The umbrella itself is not extremely heavy (I can manage it myself and I am not a large woman.) but the cast iron base will need to be carried by someone with some muscle! The stability is excellent – both at a tilt and straight up. The only time I would say to put it down is in a high wind situation. I really like the tan color as it goes nicely with the colors of our house and patio furniture. I also really appreciate the shade and thickness of the umbrella itself as it clearly will block out the sun for comfortable dining. An excellent value for the money for both the umbrella and the base!

Wonderful Navy Blue Patio Umbrella
This is a great Amazon basics 10 foot patio umbrella in a beautiful navy blue color. It looks great and works well. It comes with a smooth crank lift which makes it easy to put up and take down when you are done using it. And a Push button tilt so that you can change the tilt of the umbrella to help create a shade where you want it most. It has a light weight aluminum pole which makes it easy to move around and fit into your patio table and/or umbrella stand. It is stable, sturdy and durable, and adds some elegance to my back deck. Tip: Remember to put it down when you aren’t using it to help it last even longer. Plus it’s fun to dangle some sting lights from the umbrella for added ambiance in the evening hours.

Does not fit a standard umbrella pole unless I took out that plastic piece which makes it unstable in light wind. I have a heavy flower pot on it until I can buy some pavers, still falls over.

Parasol de terrasse d’Amazon Basics, taille 274cm, avec une manivelle pour une ouverture et une fermeture simplifiée, il y a également un bouton poussoir afin de choisir le degrés d’inclinaison.Utilisé pour notre terrasse en rez de jardin, j’ai déjà pu le tester avec la douceur de ces derniers jours, il conviendra parfaitement à ce que nous attendons d’un parasol pour cet été, il est très joli, la couleur beige est comme sur les photos, il est pratique et robuste.Le pied du parasol était également et de suite compatible avec la base de la même marque.Je recommande sans hésité.

I was keen to get this because although I love sitting out in the sun, a lot of my family feel the exact opposite! So when having guests round in the summer for BBQs we can’t really offer them any decent shade so some of them end up sitting indoors (this is the UK so granted this is not very often).At 305 cm, it gives a generous circle of shade that easily covers a standard outdoor dining table and a few chairs, making it much more comfortable to sit outside on brighter days. The tan colour looks neutral and smart, blending in well with most patio furniture without standing out too much or clashing with existing décor.Using was straightforward fro me. The crank mechanism feels smooth and makes raising and lowering the canopy straightforward. The push-button tilt is useful in the late afternoon or early morning, when the sun sits lower. You can do a quick press and angle adjustment keeps the shade exactly where it is needed without having to move the whole base. Once in position, the umbrella feels stable, and the pole and ribs give a good impression of sturdiness for an everyday, budget-friendly option.I’ve not exactly owned lots of sun shade umbrellas in my time but this feel top notch. The Amazon ‘basics’ descriptor doesn’t do it justice really. I’ll definitely be using this cone the summer time.

Ce parasol fait 3m de diamètre ce qui couvre une belle surface!Il protège ma table pour 8personnes en intégralité.L’armature est métallique, semble solide, résistante et de bonne qualité.La toile est épaisse cependant j’ai un doute concernant une bonne protection anti UV.Cette information n’est indiquée nulle part.Ce parasol m’étant donné à tester en automne (mi décembre), il m’est difficile d’évaluer correctement ce paramètre.Le système de poulie pour plier et déplier la toile est de bonne qualité, très pratique, quelque soit la taille que l’on fait ou la force que l’on a, il suffit de tourner la manivelle pour déplier la grande toile. C’est très facile et rapide à faire, et c’est sécurisé. Pas de risque de pincement avec un repli trop rapide.
