I purchased similar lanterns from a well-known company at a fairly high price. After a period of time, the finish on these lanterns peeled off. When I saw these on Amazon, I read that they were well-made and took a chance. So far so good — they look great and the finish looks great. I keep my fingers crossed that it stays this way.

Battery life is terrible.
The lanterns are nice but the batteries literally last 3 days. That’s using the timer and they are in about 4 hrs a night. Unacceptable for me. I have numerous other items on timers and the last weeks or longer..

The batteries don’t stay lit they only last one night the next day. I have to change the battery. I’m not buying any more batteries. They just don’t work other than that. They’re very pretty. I might have to take the whole candle out and replace it with a different one.
