Good idea but not so good execution
The nice thing about this double tier serving tray is that it uses a hinge system to allow it to lay flat for more efficient storage purposes. However, there are four bolts that need to be screwed into place with a hex key wrench to keep it in the upright position. Not having a tool-less design defeats the benefits of convenient design, and it would be very easy to lose or misplace the bolts when it’s in its collapsed form. Also there’s nothing to keep the top tier from tilting slightly to the side so you’ll have to balance things carefully to keep it centered. It’s too bad because this tray seemed like a good product otherwise.

High quality item
This is a beautiful wood organizer stand. It came carefully protected and packaged and was very easy to assemble out of the box. The item lays flat and they top shelf swings up and centers over the bottom shelf. Two screws on each side stabilize it and they attach with an included Allen wrench. The metal parts of this are black giving it that rustic ‘farmhouse’ look that is so popular right now. It that isn’t your style the metal can be painted although if you wanted to spray paint you would have to tape off the boards as they are not removeable.This is a versatile shelf. Obviously it can be used in the kitchen in countess ways. But it is also nice enough that it could be used on the dining room side table, the bedside table, the bathroom counter, or the office. This is a sturdy and heavy duty self. The handle makes transporting it easy if you need to move it around. I expect this to be a long-lasting and durable piece for my home.

Excellent addition to our Table
This serving tray is an excellent addition to our kitchen. We have a large family as we have 5 boys. This of course means that we have a larger dining room table for everyone to sit at when we sit down to eat meals together. We use this serving tray as a way to hold and keep condiments for the meal(s) that we are eating. This tray is perfect to hold so many things other than just salt and pepper. This allows us to keep whatever condiments or seasonings we need or want for the meal. We have several seasonings that we have handy on the table each night as someone always wants their preferred seasoning on their meal whether it is pepper, crushed red pepper, blackening seasoning, creole seasoning, hot sauce, etc.The two tiers or levels means that there is more than enough space for everything that we need, and it helps free up space on our table as everything is in this tray/rack so we can just pass this around the table and not have to have 2 different versions as that is what we used to do, we had 2 lazy Susens on the table one on each end of the table, this meant that we used to have 2 of each condiment that we wanted on the table. This tray has really freed up space on our table and we love it!

Beautiful, heavy stand
This is a very good size serving stand that can be used both for serving and for decoration. It is heavy and sturdy and can easily hold a lot of food and/or decor items. It comes already assembled but laying flat. The only thing that needs to be done is to turn the trays vertically and then insert screws (included) to hold the trays in position. The reason I deducted one star was that it was a little tricky leveling the two trays before tightening the screws and I actually had to use a level and readjust the trays a couple of times because I couldn’t get them perfectly straight. But once I did, and tightened the screws, they stayed in place and remained very sturdy.

Versatile and good quality
This is a very nice serving tray or tray to use as a decor piece. It is made of good quality materials and seems very sturdy. The wooden pieces are thick and made of really nice wood. They are attached to the metal, however, so you can’t remove them to wipe them down. It would have been a nice feature, but not a big deal. You have to install 4 screws in order to assemble it, but it was very easy. That’s actually a nice feature as you can take the screws out and store it flat when not in use. It is nice enough to serve food such as cupcakes, fruit, etc. but I plan on using it as a decor piece. It will look nice sitting on a counter, larger vanity or table to showcase decor pieces, figurines, candles, etc. or put lotions, makeup, toiletries and such so they’re readily accessible. I think the price is a little high for this type of tray, but the quality and durability make it worth it.
