Answer: Step 1 Power on; Step 2 Hold the “ON” button on remote about 3-5 seconds until the lights start flashing.

Owned for a few months
I am now on my 3rd set of these lights and let me start with the good.Pros:Phone connection is very good, streamlined, and effective. The Tuya app provides a lot of great features and customization. A few bugs here and there, but are fixed with a few simple steps. Colors are bright, adhesion is good, but not extremely sticky (which is good so it doesn’t fully rip off the paint off your walls).Cons:Though the lights wont rip off ALL the paint, it may take off a little paint here and there if you remove them. Unfortunately I had to remove some sets of the light for replacement because 1-3 LED’s went bad (Blue LED no longer worked for 3 LEDS, 2 Red LED’s no longer worked on another strip). Keep in mind that I had these lights only for about a month with not a lot of run time and some LED’s already went bad, but that is the price you pay for these. They are great lights for the price, but you may run the risk of some LED’s burning out (which is fairly standard with lights in this segment).

these are good led lights no different than any other for the most part
these are nice connecting the app to your phone, i would say the length is fairly decent since it actually covered my entire ceiling. i do have a fairly small room though. they look great and i have no issues, id say these are worth my money. the back seemed sticky enough to hold up on my walls as well, seems to be durable enough for a while. i rate 10/10 and the app is nice to control and set timers for my lights, and for adjusting the color and brightness however i’d like. i connected my alexa as well, which works perfectly!

Don’t waste your money
– Each light strip leading out from the plug is a different color. Ex: When I set them to yellow, one strip is yellow and one is a soft white.- The colors aren’t right – “red” is pink, “blue” is purple, the only color that is its actual color is green.- The strips fell off the wall after 2 hours. I had to use sticky tack and clear tape to get them back up.- The app sucks and doesn’t work with Alexa well. You can only set a routine to tell Alexa 2 commands, ex: turn on, brightness 50. If you set a 3rd command (mode, color). It doesn’t work.I bought 2 light strips of another brand 3 years ago and did 2 other rooms. Those lights were vibrant and true colors and are still working beautifully. I’ll spend the extra money next time and get strips that actually work.3.3.24 The company refunded my purchase because of this review. Now I’ll decide which other brand to buy and start the daunting task of taking down all these non-working lights.

Easy to set up and pair
I use led strips a lot for different things. These were easy to pair with Google. Do note, as with most led strips, you should buy 3M adhesive clips to mount these as the adhesive on the strips will not hold. The colors are pretty good.
