The picture looks like a dark blue but in person the cushion is black. I followed the directions but there’s a little space between the top piece and the middle piece that holds the racks and the little black holders for the back of the shelf has to be screwed facing left of the top part otherwise it won’t dig into the corners properly.

I love it! Fits perfectly where I needed it to fit so shoes can be taken off at the door. Lot less dirt and sand on the floor saving me time from sweeping. Very sturdy and plenty of room to comfortably sit and take your shoes off. I get lots of compliments on it too!

Get something else.
For something this expensive, I thought there would be some good properties to report back. This piece should come with a warning to not go near if you have the flu as one sneeze in close proximity and it will blow apart in to a pile of dust. This is made of cardboard and bubble gum, and painted with disappointment. The styrofoam the thirty pieces were packed in were stronger than the furniture parts. My wife tried to squeeze a scarf in one of the cubby holes and a chunk of the front face popped off in her hand.I’d return but taking it apart and shoving back in to the box would just cause more cleanup and vacuuming. I think the whole thing is going in to the dumpster. At least it will not be tough to break apart.
