Great Wall Decor – Looks Amazing in My Office!
I really like this product — it looks great on the wall in my office and adds a very nice visual touch. Installation took a bit of work, but it was worth it. In the box you only get a corner template to help position the first pieces, and the rest you need to figure out yourself. To make it easier, I used Google Maps to see where each island should be placed, which helped a lot.The included glue dots are very strong and hold everything securely. Once I got the layout right, finishing the project was easy. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it!

Hight Quality & Great Detailed Product
The high quality and great detail of this world map is really phenomenal! The size is awesome, and it’s a great gift idea for your world travels. We gifted this to our brother and sister-in-law and they had a professional attach it to decorative wood and framed it, added cork board for the pins and double-framed it. This provides an easy way for them to keep the map nice, but also facilitate any future moves from their current residence to another.

Beautiful Gift
I bought the medium map for a birthday present. After building the frame, staining, painting, and gluing the pieces down, it really came together. There were some minimal line smudges on the states and she noticed there were missing holes as she was putting her pins in (unsure if some missing holes are because of the map size?). Overall the product is beautiful and the recipient loved her gift.Puzzle process:My goal was to create a moveable piece so I designed a frame that came in just under 4′ x 2′. I found it easier to lay all the pieces on my counter before I glued it to the frame. Be aware that some island pieces are not labeled. Instead of the adhesive provided, I used Gorilla Glue’s Max Strength Clear Construction Adhesive. It took approximately 2 hours to glue all of the pieces to the frame. I also used Google maps instead of the picture provided. Antarctica was a bit smaller than what I would have hoped as it didn’t align well with South America.

Absolutely amazing! It turned out just as good as I’d hoped. I ordered the XL, Full Pack with State Names, with Antarctica. It. Looks. Beautiful! I can’t recommend this enough – if you’re considering ordering it, do it! Igor and the team were great to work with – I’d asked to include a few islands which weren’t part of the ‘standard’ map and they happily added them for no extra charge. I love it and have already gotten several compliments on it, and it’s turned into a great conversation piece. The various wood coloring/finishes really compliment eachother, and all of the pieces fit seamlessly together.The only Cons:1) I probably wouldn’t order Antarctica again. It looks nice but is missing a few key features of the shoreline, like the Antarctic peninsula which is the closest point to South America. Practically, this made it hard to center on the map with the other continents. This is the only shoreline that doesn’t match up with what you’d see if you looked at a real map, which is too bad. Everything else is spot on or close enough to not be immediately noticeable.2) I had to pull the tape off to reposition Easter Island, and the tape is STRONG. It pulled off a small piece of the wall – if we ever move it will be a beast to take down. If I was doing it again, I would put it on a painted piece of wood and then hung that on the wall instead of putting it directly on the wall.3) This is a small thing, but the tip of Texas (El Paso area) looks slightly off….too rounded.Those are all little things, however, and I am very satisfied. Easily, 5+ Stars! Communication with the seller was easy and quick, shipping from Ukraine to the USA was seamless, the map was easy to put together (although it took more than 2 hours…), and the finished piece is everything I was hoping for. Outstanding job – i am a very happy customer and highly recommend this to anyone/everyone!

The package arrived expertly packed, layered in Styrofoam between each continent and major section, all in a cardboard flat-style box. This is real wood, with a fiberglass/acrylic backing. I think it’s a 2-person job for this size (XL/OAK) but usure for other sizes.Take your time! Watch the video from the QR code that points to YouTube, on the instructions, it’s worth it!Assemble Europe with Africa and Asia to form a large section, it’s almost 1/2 of the entire thing in one piece. This is good and bad – bad in that when you have to mark your mounting holes you have a larger piece that you have to keep stable, level. Good in that you’re literally almost 1/2 done once that larger super piece is hung up. In retrospect, I would have just started my initial hole marking with Europe, get my first two markings, then attach Africa, Asia, hang again and mark the remaining super section holes. I was off for 2 of my 10 first holes which is all the holes for the super piece (Europe, Africa and Asia). After that, the rest is very smooth – North America, Greenland, South American and Australia and all the extras (islands, ocean names etc.).Electrical / LED connects are very straightforward. My south American LED pins had a bent one, easily fixed with a flat head screw driver and once I plugged it in, it worked flawlessly.The remote is very cool too – it’s touch-sensitive with a wheel for the colors, other buttons for on/off/brightness, mode and more.I have 1/2 of my country flag pins up and it looks great. The non-continent pieces (north/east/west/south), small islands etc. are all stuck to your wall with tape, while the rest is very secured with wall anchors. I was lucky, both my Europe and North America continents hit wood studs for extra durability.If you select “North American” plug style, you don’t get a North American plug, you get an adapter to plug the two prong European standard into it and then plug the adapter in the wall. It’s a large converter, minor inconvenience and I would not ding a star in the rating for it.It’s only been a day and I’ve had a 1/2 dozen meetings and nothing but very positive comments – I love it, and so does everyone else apparently. I’m very happy and I do highly recommend this for anyone. My specific use case was for an office wall that my teams/zoom cam looks at – and it shows up phenomenally on camera!Tools you will need: Measuring tape, level, screwdriver or light power drill and drill bits (pilot drill bit, 1/4″ drill bit and Philips bit, pencil and consider a laser level for nice straight visible lines to align to, and lastly…patience! I can’t emphasize patience enough.

Very well made and it looks fantastic! It is easy to install but a bit tedious when it comes to all the tiny islands. It’s worth the time investment though. It comes with everything you need. A couple of locations are not mentioned on the map but they come in the box. It was fun to research them to see where they should be placed. 100% recommended.

The Good:Highly aesthetic … Pretty easy (but time taking) to put up if the instructions are followed properly. Took me about 5 hours.The Bad:1. Found that the Trinidad & Tobago piece is missing (maybe more too, but haven’t figured out as yet).2. Placements of the countries … especially islands in the reference map provided are not accurate. Referring a standard political world map while installing is recommended.3. It will be great if a template / stencil can be provided for easier installation.

This wooden map is absolutely amazing. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loved it. We are big travelers so it’s so fun to put the little pins in the places where you’ve been. Applying it to the wall took a bit but it was so much fun to do. They send you extra pieces too which is nice. Everything stuck to the wall very nicely as well. I was shocked how easy it was to stick them & for them for not to fall down. We’ve had this up since January and we’ve had nothing fall down!! The contrast in the different wood pieces makes it look so pretty. We got the one that has a variety of wood colors. We got the large size.
