Heavy weight, well made. Great quality but I had trouble with the wall anchors.
These shelves are hefty and sturdy, made of all metal, with a smooth black finish. They are well made and honestly they are way more than I need for my use, but the grid design is perfect so they are working out great for me. I am hanging them inside a storage closet to hold my many fake florals. The grid pattern is perfect for holding bouquets and stems without letting the flowers fall through. I have been looking, thinking, and brain-storming for a long time about how to organize and store all my fake flowers and bushes, and these shelves are a great solution. They keep my florals up off the ground so they don’t get dirty or stepped on, my flowers are carefully placed on the grid as opposed to being smashed into a plastic bag and getting crushed, and while they are hidden out of view inside my closet, they are not all that hidden away in general, so all I have to do is open my closet door to easily see what florals I have, and then I just pluck the ones I want from the shelf. It’s the perfect solution. In my photo I have just gotten started organizing and storing my collection; there are many more floral stems yet to be added, and I will be hanging the other shelf to double the floral storage.I did have some frustration installing these shelves because the included wall anchors don’t have a lip on them. I didn’t notice or think about it at the time and went ahead and installed them into the wall. But once I installed the metal screws into the wall anchors, there was no lip to hold the wall anchors in the wall, and the act of screwing in the screws pushed the wall anchors completely out to the other side of the wall, where they were just loose and not doing their job of anchoring the screws in the wall, and the shelf was loose and dangling. I had to get my own wall anchors that have a generous lip on them and this solved the problem. I’m a female and am not exactly a handyman, but I’ve installed plenty of wall anchors in the past. It’s probably something I was doing wrong. At least I was able to easily fix it with lipped wall anchors, but it was frustrating at the time.Overall, these shelves are heavyweight and great for storing all kinds of things. I assume most people will probably use these in their garage as they are good quality and heavy duty for that purpose. In my case, these shelves are overkill for storing lightweight fake flowers, but the grid makes them perfect for this task, and the 12×18 size fits the little open spot of wall in my closet wall perfectly. I am very happy with these and they are just the storage solution I’ve been looking for.

The nicest part of these shelves is they are spaced so that if you tie into one upright wall stud, the other side automatically lines up. This makes it easy to either screw or nail up the shelves.They do come with the hardware to allow mounting into drywall using anchors, but I recommend finding the studs and using the supplied screws. I used a drill to drive the supplied wood screws.They arrived looking as advertised and seemed sturdy. I liked the basket feature, so things that might roll around stay put. I installed them in my garage, but they look nice enough to be placed inside some areas of the home, especially if the load in them covers the brackets. In other words, they look clean and utilitarian, but not stylish.
