Expensive, but worth it
After going through I don’t know how many cheap folding camp chairs over the years, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of these rocking camp chairs with sun shades. We are in the south and kids sports are everywhere, all year long, and hotter than the hinges of hell in the full sunlight at most sports fields. Soccer is 80 minutes long and that is a long time to roast. These chairs make that process a bit more bearable. The sunshades are awesome to keep you out of the sun and about as comfortable as you can be. They fold relatively easy, though getting the travel bag (which is pretty robust compared to cheaper chairs) can be a challenge with all the extra metal bars for the hood supports. The rocking feature is amazing and being able to just lean back sometimes really saves my back. There is a dedicated phone storage pocket, which is nice and a cup holder that works for cans, but I don’t put my big old water bottle in there as I don’t want to rip it. Good for beer or sodas though. Now the Cons: The cost is a hard pill to swallow, I can’t sugar coat it. These are about four times what you pay for a normal folding camp chair, but the features and quality make it worth it. We have other sports parents friends that have had these for years and are still lugging them out to games and they still look and work great, so I know we will get years out of them too. These chairs are a permanent feature in my wife’s soccer mom SUV and store small, so not a hassle to keep in there. Overall, we love them.

Rocker mechanism lubrication tip…no more squeaks!
Ordered a pair of these chairs after a cousin showed us how comfortable they were. The chairs very comfortably fit me at 6’5” and my wife at 5’7”. They fold fairly compactly and slide into their storage bags when they are not being used. The chairs are well made, very sturdy, and the rocker motion and cup holder are very nice features. The rocking mechanism worked flawlessly and quietly until recently. I sprayed WD 40 between the chrome rods and the yellow rings at the top of the rocker mechanism, and the chair rocks smoothly and quietly again. We are very pleased with our new chairs and they have very quickly become our favorite folding chairs.

Comfort and Quality in One Chair
This is hands down the best camping chair I’ve owned. Its sturdy, super comfortable, and the rocking motion is so relaxing after a long day outdoors. Easy to fold, carry, and set up. The build quality feels solid, and its supportive even for long sits. Worth every penny!

Fits bigger water bottles
It fits my big cup! The chair is comfortable, tall back, rocks nicely, wide seat area, and good back ventilation. It is a little heavy compared to the cheapy $10 camping chairs. So happy to find a good chair that also fits the larger water bottles.

Great chair, but watch out for stripped bolts that can tear clothing
Very comfy, lightweight, and wide chair. There’s also a shoulder strap integrated right on the chair so you don’t need a bag to try to squeeze the chair into. That feature alone got it to 4 stars instead of 3.The bad? Cheap bolts were used on the chair which were partially stripped out during factory assembly. That left sharp metal shards poking out which ripped my wife’s shirt. I’ve grinded it down with a dremel to fix but beware of that.

Awesome camp chair!
The GCI Outdoor Rocker Pro Camp Chair has quickly become my favorite chair to bring along. What I like most is how comfortable it is compared to other camp chairs. With most chairs, I end up feeling like I’m slouching or sinking too low, but this one has great support and keeps you sitting upright in a natural position. It’s genuinely relaxing, especially with the smooth rocking motion.Another thing I really appreciate is how compact it folds down. A lot of rocking chairs are bulky and awkward to haul around, but this one is designed to fold up much smaller, which makes it easy to pack in the truck or carry to camp. It gives you the comfort of a rocker without the hassle of a big frame taking up space.Overall, it’s well-made, supportive, and thoughtfully designed. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a camp chair that feels more like real furniture but is still portable and practical.

Buy the chair! You won’t regret it
Absolutely love this chair! The colors are beautiful and girly and the chair is really comfortable. The only downfall I have is that if I’m not rocking I feel like it is dumping me out. It seems like it leans more forward. It would be great if it came with a fit rest you can attach when not rocking. It’s easy to fold up and has a trap to keep it together. No cumbersome bag to fight with trying to get your chair back in it. Also has a carrying strap. It had a convenient spot for your phone and a cup folder. All in all I would buy again.

Get one…or two!
This is our second one. Worth every penny the first time. Worth every penny this time. We spend a lot of time at the soccer field, watching our grandson play. This chair is comfortable and helps keep the sun off of you.
