Sturdy and easy to install
These are sturdy, work well in outdoor environments, install easily on round outdoor electrical boxes, and the controls are easy to set.I have two of these fixtures on each end of my shop. Two Par 36 outdoor LED flood lights work well. The installation was quick and easy. They are 120v so if you don’t know how to wire electrical stuff, seek professional guidance.

Good Motion Detection and Bright Output, But Build Quality Feels LightThe Globe Electric twin-head motion sensor light offers strong illumination and solid detection range at a reasonable price. I installed mine above a garage door to replace an older metal fixture, and the setup was straightforward — wiring was simple, and all the mounting hardware was included. Once in place, it covered a wide 110° zone and picked up motion reliably out to around 50–60 feet. The adjustable heads make it easy to direct the light exactly where you need it, whether for a driveway or side yard.The motion sensor settings are flexible — you can choose how long the lights stay on (1, 5, or 10 minutes) and adjust the detection range. It also has a manual override feature, handy if you want to keep the light on continuously for outdoor work or gatherings. I paired it with two 100-watt equivalent LED PAR38 bulbs, which provided bright, even coverage without excess glare.The main compromise is the build material. While it’s weather-resistant, the body is mostly molded plastic, which feels less sturdy than older metal fixtures. It’s held up fine through heat and light rain, but I’d avoid mounting it in fully exposed, harsh-weather spots.Bottom line: A bright, affordable, and easy-to-install motion floodlight ideal for garages, patios, or entryways. We have had several hard power outages and brown outs and this light has come back on every time so far. Our power outages have ruined a lot of things but not this one. I would buy this again. More on this, We have brown outs and quick power outages and long power outages during storms when trees touch the power lines. When the power comes back on and doesn’t go off again and again, all i do is turn the power off to this light for 5 minutes then turn it back on. Within an hour or 2 it stops going on and going off over and over. If it does that don’t worry about it, it will reset itself before tomorrow night. I love this model because so far it has not been ruined by our power outages. I like it so much that i bought 2 and i keep the 2nd one brand new in its box for a spare or if i want one in another location. It has been working for less than a year but perfectly. JUST NOW (10/26/2021) i walked out in the dark and it came on perfectly. Im very happy with it and as soon as one of my other different brands quit working i will use my spare one of these to replace the bad other brand. Then i might order another 2 more. JUST NOW (12/19/2021) I just used up my spare motion sensor light. I had another brand from 2005 in a different location and it finally died. (that’s not too bad) I confirmed that I had power to it and it was still not working. Of course i tested the old bulbs in a separate light and the bulbs we good. Im talking about ANOTHER BRAND that failed. OK, now i have 2 of these motion sensor outside fixtures working perfectly as of 1 hour ago. I will order 2 more as spares right now. You know, even if these lasted only 5 years they would be worth buying them over and over because right now in Alaska its dark about 3:30 in the afternoon and its not light in the morning until 8:00am or so. These lights have to work over time in Alaska especially when the temperature is often cold. It was 8 degrees yesterday. SO = these are good lights in my opinion! I would recommend them to a friend.

As expected as to quality and use. We WERE going to return this as our old one seemed to be partially “on the way out”. But this is really fine. A Keeper.

Easy installation, set up and reliable functionality
This motion sensing security light replaced a fancy, LED set that I recently bought from my local warehouse club at twice the cost. The LED set had a badly designed motion sensor that was blind as a bat with a claimed 60′ range. I had to literally jump in front it with my arms in the air to make it see me. Based on the reviews of this product, I ordered a pair of these, hoping to get a better performance. Unfortunately, the first one I installed had a bad sensor and the light wouldn’t come on at all. I replaced it with the second one and it worked flawlessly. The sensor detects me at about 50′ and has a fairly wide field of detection view. The installation was very straight forward as it mounted to my electrical box with the provided hardware without any issues. I sent the bad one back to Amazon for a replacement to get rid of the second LED set. By the way, the LED sets that are going back to my membership warehouse club, are sold on Amazon as well. I would stay away from them and go with these. If LED lights are a must have, a pair of LED spot lights in place of incandescent bulbs would cure the problem.

Este producto es facil de instalar en una caja deredonda para exterior. Trae manueal de instalacion con instrucciones muy claras. Sin embargo tiene dos cosas que nome agradaron.1: El modo manual no funciona. El modo manual se utiliza en esas ocaciones en las que quieres dejar la luz prendida todo el tiempo y no solo cuando detecta movimiento. De acuerdo al manual de installacion, la luz se puede poner en modo manual si se apaga por un segundo y luego se prende. Esto no funciona. Yo compre dos de estas luces y ninguna se puede poner en modo manual.2: Calentamiento de inicio, cuando se apaga la luz desde el apagador por periodos prolongados (mayor a 10 min) y se vuelve a prender, la luz entra en un modo de inicializacion o calentamiento donde la luz se empieza a prender y apagar. Este ciclo no termina almenos que lo dejes correr por unos 15 minutos y despues de eso apagues y prendas rapidamente la luz desde el apagador. Esto es muy molesto. Si el precio se te hace barato para los precios que encuentres en tu localidad y los inconvenientes que mencione no te importan, entonces esta luz puede ser para ti. Yo en lo personal NO LA RECOMIENDO.

Very good most of main parts made out of metal and motion is good. I bought grey one last year and it’s all plastic this one is metal most of it. Took maybe 10 minutes to install and works no issues doesn’t light up in day either.

Operates on 120v therefore not useable in UK without modification. Had my money refunded and told to scrap light rather than return.

This light worked perfectly and is simple to install and set up. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is it was shipped without extra packaging. The parcel was almost broken open (see picture)I half expected it not to work after seeing how damaged the box was. It did luckily and it works great. The only thing I did was cut 1/2” of the centre mounting screw as some reviews said it contacted the wire inside and caused a short. I would recommend the product I would hope they would double box it as they usually do.

My favorite thing about this product was a tiny little piece of plastic. That’s it, it supports the fixture to the crossbar so you don’t have to hold it while working overhead. Like one cent worth of plastic and it made such a difference to the ease of install.Motion works well, using it in a carport, coupled it with some LED 100 watt equivalents and it’s a bright solid lighting solution.
