WOW!! Excellent lamp, great quality, amazing functionality for the price!
I bought this lamp for a purely utilitarian reason – Vive Ultimate Trackers needed bright, even lighting around my room, and my nighttable lamp, wall spotlight, and ceiling fan didn’t cut it. I’m usually wary of paying 3 figures for LED lamps as dubious quality LEDs can be used, we all know the corners cut in these devices. But this one worked beautifully.Installation was fairly quick and easy – screw in some metal plates between three metal tube structures, then slide the soft LED strip right in. Setup was fairly easy – I purchased Govee products before, so it automatically recognized the lamp without much hassle (I had to find the 2.4 Ghz password). The lamp has very even lighting up the strip, which goes to my chin. Casting against a wall corner brings soft, even light to the room.I was impressed by was the versatility. I expected a silly RGB panning thing, and there are features for that, but what I got was the ability to change brightness and color temperature! I made two nightlight presets, both 2700k, one at 5% for when I need to use the restroom, another at 1% when I’m just in bed and need a little light to see something close by. I’ve been frustrated with my lighting options for nightlights as I have particular sensitivies, but being able to dim the lamp that much and get nice lighting, and save those presets as a button in the app was an unexpected surprise!It’s really hard to think of anything I don’t like, here. Some of the motion can be a bit jittery. If you have an uneven floor, I don’t think the lamp has any adjustments for the bottom feet. And it would be nice for 5ghz Wifi to be an option. Or, at this price, maybe even something remote. Otherwise the light is beautiful, the app works well, and I have no major complaints! It exceeded my expectations, which is very difficult to do. I will definitely be looking at more Govee products in the future.

Govee’s newest generation of floor lamps is one of my favorite Govee products.
Using these products to achieve their wall-wash effect is a great, easy-to-set-up RGB solution. They have good diffusers that hide the bright marks of LED strips, and they feature two types of LEDs, which allow for much stronger colors than LED strips, as well as functioning as a white light. I removed the conventional lights from my Studio and replaced them with Govee products. I am installing my entire place with Govee solutions, making the 3rd home I’ve had using solely Govee RGB lighting solutions. The app is excellent; check it for daily specials. Ensure you are getting the most recent models of the Govee lights you want, such as this Lamp, as they have made tangible improvements with each iteration. This lamp is taller, capable of producing brighter light, and features LEDs around the base, compared to the model it replaces. They look great in the same home and are 1 7 of my seven favorite Govee products.

Fabulous, Bright, Dynamic!
During Black Friday sales I decided why not and bought two. Now I am addicted.These were super easy to assemble as they come in mutiple pieces. I don’t think it took me longer than ten minutes and that was me examining each piece carefully since the box arrived fairly crushed looking. Despite the box looking horrid everything with the lamp was great!The lamp is a fairly small foorprint but also fairly tall. They are absolutely perfect next to my television. I’m impressed with how bright and dynamic they are. I set them as a morning alarm and despite being in the other room it feels like someone turned on all the brightest lights when these turn on to awake mode. But I don’t usually use them for reading or tasks but to create dynamic ambiant light.This is where the lamps shine because there’s so many preset options and they are delightful. The colors are bright, they have s nice blend, and they are amazing!

Great lighting
Incredible range of colors that can be displayed. The instructions are not the most clear, however, one simple youtube video and you can have this lamp set up in less than 15 minutes. It is fairly tall, and the light it projects goes much farther than any other Govee product I have gotten to far. the base is a high-quality material that lights up at the bottom as well. It can have the neon colors you might want if you’re going for a retro look, or it can have warm colors to make your house look like something out of Greece.

The brown/yellow tones did not photograph well, but they do match the tv screen.✅ Pros:✅ Quality Construction: The lamp feels sturdy and well-made.✅ Easy Assembly: Putting it together was a breeze.✅ Clear Instructions: The included instructions were easy to understand and follow.✅ Excellent Color and Brightness: The lighting options are vibrant and offer a good range of brightness.✅ Long Power Cord: The cord is long enough for flexible placement.❌ Cons:❌ Misleading Product Name: The “2” in the name made me think it was a two-pack. This should be clarified in the description. (Note: I was looking for a two-pack and mistakenly thought this was one. This is a single lamp.)❌ Price: The price is a bit high, especially compared to the slightly shorter, previous version.❌ TV Syncing Issues: Doesn’t synchronize well with a wall-mounted TV on its own. A stand is needed to improve the synchronized lighting effect on the wall.

Great! Beautiful light show! It was very reasonable when I bought it but I’ve noticed that it is much more expensive now, so use your own judgment about whether to buy it. I haven’t even programmed it or hassled with Alexa. I just let it react to the music or the TV.

La compré con descuento pero sin duda vale lo que cuesta. Tiene un control remoto con el que puedes regular la calidez de la luz y el color, las funciones del control son básicas pero sí te permiten crear un ambiente adecuado y de acuerdo a lo que a ti más te guste.Sugiero mucho que descargues la aplicación de Govee a tu celular porque te permite configurar mucho más la luz de la lámpara (colores, selección de luz ambiental con o sin sonido, personalizar la barra led por secciones o poner temporizador para que se apague de manera automática). Al ser una barra de luz led, es ideal que la coloques en una esquina o que la luz que emite rebote con la pared.

I will give them 5 star from this experience alone.Previous Review rating: 3/5Its a fun lamp with many cute features, but it really is only good for one small area of your room. I was going to have it beside my computer desk, but even with the smallest obstruction of view of the lamp, it doesnt do half as much lighting to my workspace as my previously already dim lamp was.So i’ve moved it around the room, trying to find a good spot for it elsewhere, but nowhere seems to be bright enough with it. I have a small apartment, and even with this lamp and many others around the room, it just doesn’t illuminate very much. its nice if its really close by and not obstructed by ANYTHING so that the light can reach places. which means if its directly next to a couch, you’re only going to get light on the side of the couch and its not going to reach further than directly next to it. good reading lamp or a bedside lamp, at the very least. but for lighting up a room more than one direct corner, you would need quite a few of these, depending on the size of your room and how much furniture you have between you and the light itself. If you have a really spaced out area with furnature that isn’t obstructive in the slightest, then I would say this lamp is good for those spaces.For the price it’s at and for my needs, I cant recommend this lamp. It looks well made and was easy to put together and has fun features, but I’m considering returning it and putting the money towards something that lights stronger, and covers a bit more of the room. Also I should note, the (very large) wall plug, gets quite warm when the lights been on for about an hour or 2. the light strip itself is warm as well. doesn’t burn to touch it, but isn’t the temp I like to feel for a wall plug around other objects. Pictures show full brightness. One in an open area, and one in an area slightly obstructed by furniture (where I initially wanted it).

5 stars out of the box, based on relative ease of assembly, and ease of getting the app and voice control set up. The lights themselves are sleek, modern looking and fairly unobtrusive in 2 corners of our living room. The colours are rich, and being able to dial in an intensity is useful. I will adjust review with time, to gauge how durable they are, but for now I am happy with them.

Estas lámparas son calidad !Está es la segunda lámpara que adquiero de la marca Govee. Y esta versión es más alta que la anterior, de igual forma de mucho mejor calidad. Está perfecto que todo lo puedes controlar mediante la app o ya sea alexa.Crea un ambiente muy cálido en cualquier habitación o espacio. Lo recomendable ponerla en una esquina para crear un amplio espectro de luz.La instalación/armado es súper sencillo.Realmente vale la pena !
