Solid Furniture & Room / Entry Peice
Overall I believe this to be a lovely piece and well built. I have not yet decided what I am going to store within it but there are a lot of solid options with the cabinet space and lid space. It looks great at the bottom of the bed and is the first part to a room redesign.I was pleased with packaging of the items, the box was in decent condition and nothing inside was really damaged. One piece in a non visible spot had a few small chips on the edge but no one will ever see that spot.Assembly was extremely easy, I was watching YouTube and not in a hurry so it took about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble. The instructions were simple to follow and all of the parts nicely labeled in separate bags which I liked to not have to sort and organize myself before beginning. I will say that there is a step I feel is out of order so I skipped to it and then went back. You assemble the bulk of the unit on its back, then it has you stand it up for a step then lay it down again to put the center support on. So before I stood it up I put that support in and then moved forward again.I am very pleased with how much space and room there is within the unit for its size. Its not going to hold everything, but definitely will be able to keep things like stockings, shoe inserts, gloves, hats, scarves, some sheets etc. For me the central position of the shelf was not directly usable. One of the pegs would fall out too easily from the hole, so I just moved up to the top one and it fit fine. Very minor concern.The cushion is not super thick and does come out of the box with a bit of that foam smell, thankfully not too bad. For its intended purpose of a nice place to sit for putting on shoes it will be great. May have to smooth it out every now and then but not a big deal. I just need to get some more pillows for the final look once I decide on a new paint scheme for the room.All in, some of the pieces have very small gaps in fitment, when assembling look at the pictures and ensure everything is in the right spot, the right orientation and such as while for me it fit very well, having to redo something would likely weaken the wood and not fit as snugly. For the price of the unit though these are very small concerns and not a real issue. I cant wait to make use of this and find other pieces to compliment it and the new space.

Great bench, supports cats and humans
I needed a place to keep shoes near my front door. I wanted to be able to sit on it while changing shoes. I also wanted a great spot for my cat to sleep, as the bench would be underneath a window.This product is great! It’s very elegant, much nicer than the other benches I shopped. The color matched my furniture, which is mostly a deep reddish-brown. The parts are thick enough to be a proper bench and support the weight of one human plus one cat at the same time. I even liked the cushion it came with! It’s thick and stable enough to sit on comfortably. The size is just right for shoe changing and storing. I can store about 10 pair of shoes in this thing.Assembly took about an hour and was pretty easy. Having a friend help makes it a little easier, but you can do it solo if you want. My cat offered zero help.Overall this bench is great value for money! Very much recommended.

Sturdy, and very functional for art supplies for kids
This is perfect for a kitchen bench for my grandkids to keep their art supplies in, with their coloring books under the top lid. This will help them stay organized when they visit. It is sturdy, and nice looking.It was not that easy to put together, the instructions could have been a little better. But it turned out OK. I added pads under the feet to keep from scratching the hardwood.

Exquisite show bench
Took me a few days to finally get to this and put it together bc I was busy! But man was I surprised with the quality and appearance. I honestly expected something cheap with a vinyl seat cushion, which may have contributed to my delay in assembling. Got around to it while drinking a lot of wine and it is fantastic! That is not the wine talking, but the way.It is gorgeous deep navy blue with a nice khaki linen cushion that is able to zip and wash, if necessary. Assembly instructions were great and easy to follow. No issues here. Very pleased.

Exactly what I wanted
I waited until I could purchase this! I wanted one that had a lift top and it does! I wanted one that was almost the size of my queen bed, check! I wanted one that I could sit one with a cushion, again check! It is solid and of quality! The size is perfect and it was so easy to put together myself and I want more companies to make cabinet doors that go on like this with spring hooks I guess you can call them bc there was no fuss if the doors were straight or not! The height is perfect for the foot of my bed and the value for what I paid is just phenomenal! I just can’t day enough! Don’t sleep on this!

Clear instructions, quality product
Item is exactly as described! Assembly instructions were easy to follow and this can be done with one person. It helps for a few parts to have someone hold a piece for you, but you can prop them up if you are working on it alone. Super cute and a great way to have functional storage space!

Adequate for the price
Keeping in mind that this item is relatively inexpensive (I paid $155 for it), it is adequate for the purpose for which it was intended. The materials are flimsy, pressed wood, but not the really solid type. The assembly instructions are excellent, but the assembly hardware does not go well with flimsy wood. Most of the pieces are put together with studs that are screwed in to one piece, and then go through a hole in the other piece and is locked in place with a locking cam. Because the wood is flimsy, the screwed in portion of the stud dislodges easily. It would be better if there were pre-drilled holes so that the parts can be attached with screws that can be capped with plastic covers of the same color as the wood. This would produce a much sturdier build. Still, if you understand that you’re buying an inexpensive piece that may not be of the best quality, it is suitable for the job for which it was designed.

Not great, but good
The bench itself is great. It functions as it should and looks cute in my doorway! However, it did come a little damaged. Not to the point where it doesn’t function or that I felt the need to return it. Some of the laminate is coming off of the doors. I could easily glue it back down, but regardless, it shouldn’t have come like that. Good little bench, though!

Unquestionably it’s the best assembly manual I’ve ever received on a product from China. The bench is of good quality and is perfect for our intended use. The hardware components included spares for most of the major items. Overall I’m delighted with the product and it deserves its 5 star rating.
