Great Storage Cabinet at this price point!
Have a helper to carry it to wherever you are assembling it and for at least the first half of the assembly. The assembly instructions are OK, not great – some minor head scratching in a few steps. Also, if you plan on using the included little screwdriver, plan on four hours assembly and a sore hand/wrist. Lots of screws. I have a power driver, which made the job tolerable. Note that 75-80% of the screws you will need to install are very close to an edge, so a bit extension is almost mandatory to give you an “angle of attack” that is reasonably straight on the screw heads.With those caveats about assembly having been said, this cabinet seems of good quality. The size is right. IT’s sturdy enough, with reinforcement ribbing on the shelves. All in all, I feel like this was a good value/fit for the task.

Sturdy, Secure, and Exactly What I Needed
This steel storage cabinet is exactly what I needed for keeping my ‘treasure box’ items secure in my classroom. The metal is strong and durable, and once assembled, the cabinet feels very sturdy. The adjustable shelves make it easy to fit different-sized items, and the lock works well for added security.The only drawback was the assembly process. It wasn’t overly complicated, but it did take some time and patience since there are quite a few pieces to line up. The instruction sheet only included pictures, I had to really study some of them to understand what and where I was to connect pieces together. Once it was finished, though, the end result was worth it.Overall, a reliable and secure cabinet that offers great storage — just be prepared to spend a little extra time putting it together.
Just a DIY guy –
Thin, flimsy, and barely screwed together.
I went into this with low expectations, after all, this is a very budget option for a cabinet this size. However, low expectations weren’t low enough. Holes did line up when everything was properly assembled. The issue lies with the material thickness. This is thinner than a metal sign you buy at a craft store. Flimsy is definitely what I would use to describe this, only because of the thinner material AND a lack of fasteners. Using 4 thin screws screwed into the thin material over the height of the cabinet is not going to make it strong. Definitely some cost cutting here which could’ve been easily remedied at the factory. In my honest opinion, buy one that’s better made if you’re going to subject this to any heavier use. I think it will be overwhelmed in my garage.

Get what you pay for
Let me start by saying I just wanted cheap storage for the garage and this works for that purpose. That being said this is just cheap thin sheet metal with tiny screws holding it together. It’s easy to bend so expect some dents and dings in shipping (see pics) because the box is extremely heavy. The ad says this can be assembled in 40 minutes and they recommend 2 people. Maybe if 2 people have already built one they could do it in 40 minutes. I assembled it myself and it took two and a half hours. It also advertises 180lbs per shelf and that’s a joke. The bottom shelf has 4 small screws holding the back and nothing supporting the front. I bent it down a couple inches with 2 fingers (see video). So if you want to tackle this……..I’ve resembled a lot of different furniture and this might have been the hardest one ever. The instructions are vague at best and the pictures are not detailed enough to make out. It’s in English but as we’ll be in another language. Throw away the included screw driver, it’s useless. The included screws are 1/4in and very hard to line up with the holes. Dont over tighten or they strip right out. Have pliers handy because I had to bend back corners to make them line up.BEFORE YOU START, make sure all the parts are there, I was missing I vital pin that holds the door on.GO TO THE HARDWARE STORE and buy a box of self tapping metal screws. I added an extra 24 after it was assembled to make it more rigid. I screwed the bottom shelf on from the outside and the front (pics and video) and the frame and top. It seems relatively sturdy now. Good luck with the door handle/lock, it has one picture and no instructions on how to assemble it.All that said, with some extra screw and a lot of elbow grease I think it will serve its purpose at a decent price.
