Great spice rack
Very good price for product. Fresh spices. One lid came broken but when I reached out to customer service, they responded promptly and sent me a replacement. It’s perfect size for the kitchen counter. Items came with stickers and was very easy to install.

This is an adorable spice rack set. It is very sturdy. I like that you can use it in a drawer, hang it on the wall, or display it on the counter. All of the spices came sealed in packets. There is also a free spices for 5 years offer included with purchase. It is a great value for the money! It was easy to put together and the perfect size for putting in a drawer.

Great Looking Spice Rack and Practical!
My husband is a chef and we were lacking a spice collection. I wanted to get something modern looking yet highly functional. After researching many very “cool” looking magnetic type screw jars, etc. I thought “well these look awesome, but how practical are they?” When you’re cooking you don’t want to have to take a jar down, unscrew it, possibly shake the entire contents into your stew and quickly re-screw as you stir your delectable dinner. When I found the Kamenstein 16-Cube Bamboo spice rack I though it was such a deal (because it comes with free spice refills for 5 years) and very functional. Regarding the spice refills, it is only on a few of the spices and it costs 1.99 shipping. It’s easy to log onto the website they provide and enter your code to register.) Back to the rack…The cubes have handy plastic lids that have two sides which flip up, one for granulated and one to spoon. Perfect! It’s also very cool because you can mount on wall, have in a drawer or it comes with a metal easel on the back to set up at an angle on countertop. We choose to mount ours on the wall. We actually stacked 2×2 creating a square of 64 spices (I’ve posted the photo). The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the lids which go on over a rubber gasket type seal, don’t seal completely closed. Spices like onion powder and anything powdered with a little weight comes out from the sides a little bit. Not a big deal as it’s not too much, but still a little flaw. It doesn’t happen with larger spices that are crushed or whole. I also used my own name label stickers, as I needed spices that didn’t come with kit. One a side note, one of the four sets I ordered had a few of the glass jars chipped on the bottom (probably from shipping even though it is pretty securely packed). I looked online for replacements but couldn’t find any. I contacted the manufacturer and within a few days they had sent me two replacement jars. So props to the manufacturer for great follow up! All in all we’re very happy and excited to use our new spices! FYI the spices that came with my kit were: crushed mint, basil, oregano, sea salt, marjoram, celery salt, herbs de provence, pizza seasoning, bay leaves (crushed), parsley, rosemary, italian seasoning, coriander, season salt, chives & fennel seed.

Beautiful, but the lids are horrible…
This is a beautiful spice rack and for the price I am generally pleased. The jars are glass and sturdy and they hold a good amount of each spice. Unfortunately, the lids are poorly designed and cheaply made. To use the spices, you have to pull up on the lids exposing one side that has a larger pour hole, and one side that has 3-4 smaller holes for shaking out the spice. The problem lies with two things: 1) the lids are plastic and sometimes when you pull up on them to open the jar, it seems like the lid is going to break; 2) pulling up the lid exposes both the shaker and pour holes and as a result can cause WAY too much of the spice to come out. I have found that in order to ensure that I am shaking out the correct amount, I have to pour it into my hand before I put it on the food I’m cooking. I cook every day and use spices every single time I cook so these lids are going to become quite a pain. I can already see myself buying ANOTHER spice rack in the near future because of the lids on these jars.Additionally, several of the spices that were selected were things I never use and the variety was somewhat lacking. I received 6 spices that I rarely/never use, which meant that I had to swap them out for spices I already had in my cabinet. I ended up emptying the jars filled with Herbs de Providence, Celery Salt, Mint, Sea Salt (because I have a large grinder for this), Pizza Seasoning (because they also gave me Italian Seasoning and it seemed redundant) and Marjoram and refilled them with Cumin, Thyme, Paprika, Cayenne, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder from my cabinet because I use these spices frequently. It would be nice to be able to have some selection of spices (although for less than $30 you cannot be too picky) or at least have stickers for the lids so you can replace the spices with those you actually use. I used a label maker for now, and I will admit it looks cheap, so I’m going to have to figure something out if I don’t end up buying a different spice rack altogether.

It explicitly says that the offer is not available in Canada so the other reviews are puzzling…. Other than that, looks great and is really nice. You can still activate the code provided and if you ever go to the US, you can always pick up the spices there from a company that lets you ship to them or at your hotel. The product itself is great. I see myself using it all the time since I started cooking recently.
