Poor clock fixture design
I purchased this clock for my Mom, and the first one didn’t work and battery spot was way too tight. I returned it and got another one. The second one didn’t work either. This is a poor design flaw on the clock fixture itself. Returned the second one and bought another clock from someone else.

Eine schöne Uhr, die für vergleichbare, ähnliche Modelle recht günstig war.Sie läuft seit über 2 Jahren ohne Probleme und das in einem Bad ohne Fenster, in dem täglich geduscht wird und sie dort einer hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit von 70-80% ausgesetzt ist.Ins Schlafzimmer würde ich sie nicht hängen, weil man nachts, wenn alles ruhig ist, den Motor etwas hört-man muss aber berücksichtigen, dass sie fast über einem hängt, wenn man auf der Toilette sitzt und der Hintergrund auch noch aus Fliesen besteht, die natürlich eine gewisse Lautstärke an Schall wiedergeben. Es hört sich dann fast wie eines der neuen Amazon-Lieferwagen an, wenn sie diese Luftgeräusche machen, schwierig zu beschreiben.Fürs Wohn- u./o. Arbeitszimmer, Küche und Bad ist sie aber sehr gut geeignet. Selbst nach über 2 Jahren ist noch kein Rost an den Zeigern zu sehen und die bedruckte Oberfläche mit dem Bild löst sich nicht vom holzigen Untergrund ab, obwohl sie fast permanent Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt ist.5* und klar zu empfehlen! Ich würde wieder sehr gerne dort bestellen.

I got this clock in blue. I’m very happy with it but a few things to know:-the blue/navy blue color is a very dark blue, even a bit darker than the product photos…some might call it midnight blue-there is no glass or plastic cover, the hands are exposed. I would rather it had a cover to protect the hands, but thebenefit is that you see a nice semi-matte finish to the background with no glare – it’s easy to see in all lightingconditions-there is no second hand but you can see if it’s running when you replace the battery because there is a spinning cogvisible through a window on the mechanism on the back side. The lack of a second hand should improve battery life-no ticking, it’s silent-easy to read the time because the minute hand is much longer than the hour hand (unlike some clocks here on amazon where the minute hand is barely longer than the hour hand)-simple traditional/rustic farmhouse aesthetics
