Amazing!
Bought these, 2 for garage and 2 for basement. Love them! So bright, looks like you are walking outside on a bright day. Such natural lighting. Love that they self fun and brighten when you walk in and out. Easy to install (pre my hubby). He hates working with electricity but was able to retro fit them all in just a couple hours.

Small size and very bright
This is a much smaller footprint than your old style fluorescent fixture but it gives off much more light.I installed this in a 2-bay garage and it really put out quite a bit of light.This fixture needs to be hard wired (no plug) but i was replacing an old hard wired fluorescent fixture so this dropped right into place for me.When installing it, I decided to angle it just a little so that the light was not pointed straight down and was slightly directed towards the back of the garage. That softened the light a little bit in those areas that I more regularly use.

I recently upgraded the lighting in my workshop to the 2024 New Version 130W LED linear high bay light, drawn in by the promise of super brightness and energy savings. Honestly, the brightness level is impressive. It’s like daylight in there now, even in the corners that used to lurk in the shadows. The claim of a 80% cost saving caught my eye, and while I haven’t had it long enough to see the full impact on my bills, the math seems promising.The installation was easier than I expected. Despite my worries about fiddling with fixtures, I managed to get it up by myself without too much trouble. The light weight and ultra-thin design were definitely a plus here. However, the real test came with the heat dissipation claim. My shop gets pretty warm, and anything that contributes to that heat is a no-go for me. So far, the light stays surprisingly cool, which I guess speaks well of their “advanced heat dissipation system”.I did notice that the anti-glare feature is somewhat effective, but it’s not perfect. There’s a significant reduction in eye strain compared to my old lights, but after a few hours of work, I can still feel a bit of strain. Maybe I’m just sensitive, or maybe it’s something that could be improved.All in all, it’s a solid light fixture that lives up to most of its claims. It’s bright, energy-efficient, and doesn’t turn my workshop into a sauna. The anti-glare could use a bit of work, but it’s not a deal-breaker. For anyone looking to brighten up their space with something modern and efficient, this could be a good pick.

Really Bright
I was surprised by how bright this thing is. It’s almost too bright for the space we have it in. Our basement ceilings are very tall, almost 12 feet high. I thought switching from a regular light to this hardwired one would just slightly improve the lighting, but it made a huge difference. If I were to do it again, I’d probably choose something with less power, like 150-200 watts. This light would be perfect for higher ceilings, but where we have it now, you risk blinding yourself if you look up at it. The quality is good, and I like the chain style mounting hardware.

I already trialed a larger version of this same design of lighting and this 130W version doesn’t disappoint me either. It has an even spread of diffused, non-harsh white light. The purer white lighting tends to keep me more alert and generally feeling less fatigued to work under, compared to Halogen work lights that usually come in yellow or orange cast metal housings with a wire cage on front. Those cast a harsh light that generates hard shadows instead of what this YXL LED light generates. Totally different experience. Taking my product photos of the light in action I was no longer aware the rest of the ceiling lights (3 lights in a ceiling fan) were even on. They contributed so little light to the room once this fixture was on. That little globe light in the photo is an MR16 lamp as used in track lighting. The ceiling fan and lights are directly above where the camera was placed.These LED high bay lighting fixtures barely generate heat; just some above the rows of LED elements. The rest of the metal body stays at room temperature. Overall, no uncomfortably hot to the touch areas to be concerned with. They are quiet too with no perceptible electrical noises.They are designed for high ceiling facilities but they are so easy to handle and need so little power, especially this 130W model, I could see myself taking it along if I was going somewhere that didn’t have adequate lighting already. The included cable hangers are easy to attach. The animations I attached demonstrate the basics. The gripper barrel operates in a way that the cable will run free if you are pulling it to raise the light but you need to hold in a little spring loaded internal barrel to release the grip if you are lowering the fixture. I can see the wisdom in that so you don’t have free fall but you have an easy time of it if the lights are being put higher. I first was looping the top of the long cable through gaps in timber rafters, then inserting the Y cables into the fixture to secure it. Lastly, set the desired height.The internal wiring allows for a 10V dimmer connection according to the instructions included but it’s not something I have equipment for. I’ll be using this at full power anyway.

This LED light fixture measures 17″ x 9.5″. It’s designed to be hard wired into an electrical box and suspended from the ceiling. The supplied cables to hang it are 65″ long but the wires coming from the light itself are only about 6″ long. It has adjusters to shorten the hanging length but it’s up to you to supply the power cable from your ceiling fixture to the short lengths of wire from the lamp. You may want to consult with an electrician on the proper way to attach wire from the ceiling fixture to the lamp.I attached a temporary 110v power source to the lamp to test it. The lamp is extremely bright and all LED segments were working. We plan to install this in a room in our barn that has 17 foot ceilings so the 65″ hanging cable will place the lamp at a good height to get optimal lighting.The instructions supplied are fairly straight forward. While time will tell if this light lasts, it seems well built. It has UL certification, however no CSA label. For such a small size it does put out an awful lot of light and should serve us well for where we intend to use it.
