Does this indoor camera support 5Ghz Wi-Fi?
No, it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-fi connection.f you have a dual-band Wifi network, please make sure the camera is connected to the 2.4Ghz channel.
Where and how can linsert the SD card?
SD card needs to be purchased separately. The SD card slot is located under the camera lens. Please turn the camera up, then insert a up to 128G8 SD card into the card slot with the metal side up.
The SD card is inserted, but the camera is unable to record videos locally?
1) Please check if the SD card is properly inserted into the camera.
2) Check if the “recording settings” option is enabled in the recording settings menu, located in the camera settings.
3) To view local recordings, please use the playback function.

This indoor camera works pretty well. It works with an app that was easy to download from the Play Store on my phone. The app was quick and easy to set up. I only have one camera, but it is easy to link other owltron cameras and view them individually or together. I decided to get this as my kids share a bedroom, and they are getting to the age where they fight… a lot. With this camera set up in the corner of their room, as soon as I hear a dispute, I can quickly and easily open the app and see and hear what they are doing. Not only that, I can press the microphone icon in the app to talk to them and let them know I’m watching! This has reduced the arguments as they know now that I can see which of them did what! The image quality is good both in the day and in night mode. The only issue I have is that it’s a fixed position and can not be adjusted remotely. This is not a fault of the device it never claimed to do such. It’s just a feature I would have liked. I really can’t fault it for value. It works really well. It’s great being able to talk with my kids through the camera. As it is linked to an app on my phone, I can check in on the camera while I am out and often spot our cat sleeping in the room. I am absolutely thinking about getting another for the lounge so I can keep an eye on the house and cat while I am out. It gives peace of mind.

I am very impressed with this compact camera. I plan on using it to keep an eye on my dog throughout the day. Setting up the camera was a breeze thanks to the detailed instructions provided in the booklet and the app. The app is free to download on the Play Store for Android devices. The camera boasts full HD resolution with impressive picture quality. It also features optical zoom (up to 3x) that can be controlled through the app. The night vision capabilities are top-notch with IR illumination covering the entire field of view, providing excellent picture quality once again. You can mount the camera using either the included screws or double-sided tape. Power is supplied through a micro USB to USBc power cord, with a standard UK plug also included. The camera includes two-way sound, allowing you to both listen and speak through the camera. It would make for a great baby monitor as well. The camera supports motion detection and will send notifications and a photo to your phone if movement is detected while you are away. You can even set a siren to sound in the event of an intruder. Overall, I believe this camera is fantastic, packed with features, and offers great value for money.

This home security camera, comes with the camera itself (you need to put in an microSD card if you wish to store locally footage), it comes with a plug, a 1 metre long cable. some screw fixings and a template for mounting the screws.Often setting up these cameras can be somewhat fiddly. This was extremely simple taking me less than 5 minutes to set up. You downbload the Owltron app either from the App store or Google Play store after you have connected the device and it announces it is ready to connect, the device shows up automatically that it is ready to be added, you enter the WiFi password to allow the device to connect to it (you do have to allow Bluetooth for it to discover the device) and once this is done the device connects.Inserting the SD card is on the side of the device and once entered can be used for storage and playback. The app itself is a version of one I have seen a few times before that seems full featured and allows configuration of the device. The quality of the camera and video is very good both in standard and infra red modeThe app can detect motion and can send alerts when it sees these as well as recording the event. It has a playback section where ou can playback captured video, there is a cloud subscription option as well.The quality can be SD, HD or 2K. You can control the device whilst on the network or remotely whilst on a data connection. You can set the device up to record. You can pan and tilt the camera as needed and the device has a night mode with integrated infra red. The picture is very good on both captured stills and video and has a wide field of view. This is a good addition to home security.
