Big fan of this lil dude!
This piece is put together much better than the other gnome in his window I bought and returned. Comes with three places for screws(included) to hold it securely in position. The windows are attached to the the rest of it, making this very easy to put up. It is still daylight, however, the light turned on after taking it outside, turning the switch to the on position then bringing it back in briefly to make a screw placement diagram. The gnome hit a dark spot inside and the light turned on. Very cool design. Thank you gnome maker!*this light is so cool I have left it up in the tree for display during the day, but the light stopped working not too long after buying. I switched it back on and that worked once or twice, but the light did not last long. I enjoy this gnome way much though and will probably buy another soon.Update:I did buy another. It has been working most excellently! Way dig it.

So Adorably Cute!
I bought this because it was just so adorable and cute that I could not resist it. I love the expression and it looks like it would weather well. I thought it would look nice tucked in with my plants or sitting on the deck stairs. I like it just as much without the lantern but if it adds a little light to the spot – Great!

Needs slight adjustments when installing
I think he is adorable, but the lantern kinda rests on the dragon’s head when you hang him. I think maybe with a longer screw in the fence post maybe it could hang at a bit of an angle so that doesn’t happen? I already swapped the hook out for a smaller one and it helped somewhat. I’m going to swap out the screws before the Santa Ana winds break that little lantern.The light is decently bright for what it is, but the light doesn’t go very far so if you are looking for a pathway light you will need maybe 2 more than you expected for decent light coverage. Gives 4-5 hours of soft light after 10+ hours of sun.

Light is super bright AND lasts all night!
We wanted a bit of whimsy in our newly-refreshed spring beds, and this little cat statue is certainly whimsical and entertaining…especially when guests first spot it! Seems well made and is definitely worth the price. We just hope the solar-powered (super bright) light can withstand our sometimes harsh Houston weather.Interesting aside: when we blocked the solar “eye” the lamp lit up and was very bright immediately after it was removed from its packing materials…even though it had not seen any sunlight since it was packed for shipping IN CHINA!

Brightness Is Awesome
Ordered December 10-24 and received it December 20-24. High winds took down our cedar tree so we started this gnome tree with what’s left of it. This is the first thing we added since building the mushroom style roof. It’s fairly large so that’s a plus and seems to be well made and painted perfectly so we’re happy with the color of it. Fairly heavy but easy to install with the screws and anchors provided. Love the swinging window as it looks like the gnome is crawling out of it holding his large brightly lighted solar lantern. Little bit pricey but so many things are these days. It’s a fun addition to our tree. Now to see how it holds up for the rest of the Winter season.
