Defective, making assembly very difficult
The hole in one of the wood pieces that the metal piece is supposed to slide into wasn’t drilled all the way through, making it impossible to insert the metal piece. With several tools and a lot of effort, I was finally successful in puncturing a hole large enough to force the metal piece all the way through. The end result is sturdy and looks great, but I was very frustrated by the difficulty I had with what should have been a straightforward process.
