Good quality, thick and short strings
This is the second rug I bought. I initially got the 11’ long rug and just got the 9’ one. It is perfect for a main hallway as it is thick, sturdy and not raised to the kids do not trip on the transition between wood and rug. It is very soft on the feet too.The light grey color is very pretty. We had a couple of stains and the rug washed off easily.The carpet comes rolled really tight so it is initially hard to get the corners flat. I used anti-slip rug grips (removable and washable) and that solved the issue.Love it

First of all, this Safavieh rug is really nice! I almost did not order because the original ship date was around 2 weeks later. It arrived in 2 days! The package was in perfect condition. I was surprised that it only took a few pieces of double sided carpet tape on the corners and it looked fantastic! No big ripples. Very close up the rug is sort of multi colored. The color is perfect and very much like pictured. We have alot of color in the room so I posted pics to help you decide. Like almost any rug with color, it appears darker at night. I was looking for a lighter blue but not baby blue. We love this rug.Part 2:After 3 years the blue faded quite a bit. So, we ordered another. Wow, 3 yrs Safavieh has totally changed. First and worst, the 9×12 rug was folded up 6 ways into a square! As far as I’m concerned, this has been way way too much work! Rippling everywhere. Rug is very uneven and bubbles all over. I tried to carpet tape. I have very heavy furniture on the worst folded seams. It’s been two weeks and if anything, it’s worse! I will never buy a rug from Safavieh again if it’s folded. Why not just roll it up? Way to ruin a beautiful rug. Don’t buy this rug unless you absolutely know it’s going to be delivered rolled.

I like the look of this rug and the quality is good. The packaging is extremely difficult to open. It states you need to push the rug out from one end in order to have the sleeve intact for a potential return. There was no way I could do this and ended up cutting the plastic sleeve off. The rug is taking forever to “relax”. Two weeks later I still have heavy books on the ends to try and flatten it. The rest of the rug is a bit wavy in places. The style and color fit my decor but I would have returned it if I had the packaging to do so.

Perfect and beautiful rug and the price is very fair for a 9′ round rug.When we unrolled it, there was almost no odor. I let it sit flat overnight and by the next day there were no wrinkles and the edges were not curled.My dog runs across this every day as soon as she comes inside from going potty and even when its raining or snowing (yup, we’ve had both in the last few weeks) no stains have showed up.I purchased this after I purchased a long runner of the same brand. I think Safavieh sells the most economically priced yet attractive and good quality rugs. There’s really no point spending $400+ on a rug from Pottery Barn when you can get one from Safavieh for basically half the price. In fact, I had ordered a PB rug for the dining room and had to return it because after several weeks it was still shedding so many fibers.

Wow I am totally lucked out on this rug! Shopped for theee months and was running out of time as my building requires 80% floor covering. Shopped at several Safavieh rug stores, ABC, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Lowes, Home Depot, Wayfair, CB2, Hayneedle, Blloomingdales,, Overstock…I just wanted to find the right one for my new NYC apartment and furnishings. It is tough with area rugs as the styles and colors were too either too wild, too modern or old fashioned. Then there’s color, texture and height pile. It’s tough to make a decision online and risky paying so much not knowing what you’re going to get. Some places charge restock fees and/or make you pay for return shipping. Well when I found this one on Amazon I figured for the price, what the heck, if I hate it I’ll get rid of it and considering it was materially less expensive then every rug I liked I was prepared to hate it. I really really love this rug and it’s here to stay. Very good quality, much better then I imagined, color is perfect, purchased the beige/gray, which is platinum beige not creamy yellowish. its very soft with a decent tight weave, the gray lines are very light. I still can’t believe it! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful!
Although this is an indoor rug, I’m using it on a covered patio, where it is protected from rain and partially protected from the sun. The rug is soft underfoot and is so beautiful. I am hoping it will last a long time, but if it doesn’t, I’ll just buy another one since it’s very reasonably priced. It is perfect from my outdoor area!

You got what you payed for
I’ve got exactly what I was expecting! I mean… let’s be a realist – its 25$ rug. Of course, its made of synthetic/plastic materials, it’s not soft and cozy, but I won’t even expect it to be different!I love the pattern. It would make a great doormat. I wouldn’t recommend it as a room rug.The bottom side is made of plastic-like material, so it extremely slippery on tile/marble/ceramic floors.I had to put silicon stickers to the bottom of it to make it less slippery.Even though the pattern is beautiful, but I won’t use it in the bedroom as I planned to, I will replace it to the entryway and use it as a door mat.

The color is perfect, I was afraid about the smell that people had posted about, but there was no smell. After a couple of days the corners of the rug were flat. It is very nice and I am happy because I was about to pay a lot more money for one that does not even remotely resemble this one.

I would have preferred the more burgundy colour, but it wasn’t available. I’m using it on a hardwood floor under my desk, so my chair doesn’t damage the floor. It’s getting everyday use and It is laying flat (no edge curling!)

Due to being folded for shipping, over 2 months later, it still doesn’t lay flay on the floor. This is an issue, as it is in my 85 year old mother’s home, and poses a tripping hazard. Discoloured carpet has created a white line through an area that was supposed to be gray. This is in the middle of the room and is very apparent.
