Nice rugs, but poor packing
This was my second Safavieh rug – the first was a beautiful 8×10 rug for my living room. I liked that one so much I decided to get a runner for my hallway, and while that rug is nice (and I eventually got it sorted out), it arrived in less-than-stellar condition.If the person(s) at the factory had rolled it correctly, there wouldn’t have been an issue. But somehow in rolling this rug up, they managed to roll it lopsided and as a result, when it was unfurled, it had ripples and creases in varying directions on the whole 10-foot length of the rug. After trying to weight it down to smooth them out, I realized that they wouldn’t go away on their own because the creases changed direction every few inches, instead of being consistently in one direction (as you would get from a typical rolled rug, and why my living room rug flattened out almost immediately).So I flipped the rug over and slowly steamed all the creases out using my steam iron and a pressing cloth. I had to be careful not to apply too much heat in one place as the pressing cloth would occasionally get stuck to the plasticky underside of the rug. Once I got it figured out, though, I was able to remove all the creases and the rug would finally lay flat. It was annoying and a lot of work (maybe an hour or so – it was 10 feet long and my iron is only about 4×8 inches!) which could have easily been avoided if the factory workers had just done their job properly!However, now that the rug is flat, it looks great, is soft and beautiful. Just really annoying to have to do that much extra work. Minus 1 star for that.

Great rug for an office – good quality and easy set up
I have a productivity coaching business and host a podcast, so I needed a new rug for my new office that would help with sound and create a space conducive to work. I painted my walls a dark teal and then after searching locally to no avail, had to take a chance on a rug online. After scrolling many sites, I finally selected this one. It wasn’t the cheapest, but the price was certainly right. The order came quickly and the colors are true to what I saw online. The darker tone is definitely in the blue/navy family, but between that and the turquoise, it complements the walls nicely. The cream and grey tones keep the floor light and the overall pattern provides a neutral, grounding. The pattern is excellent for spaces that aren’t symmetrical (mine has a door to the side and I wanted to cover the floor beyond where the desk will be.) The rug itself isn’t thick, but it’s soft. And you can already tell it absorbs the sound I need for better recordings. (I will be doing acoustic tile as well.) I was happy that it rolled out easily and in one day laid flat. ) (I weighed the corners down to ensure.) I have furniture to hold the rug in place and don’t detect any slip. A rug pad would help with that and for cushion but isn’t necessary. I was also grateful I didn’t detect off gassing either. All in all, this one is a solid buy and I’m thrilled to have it in my new headquarters!

Good for its price. There is more gray than cream, which I dont mind, it adds a vintage look to it. There is a huge sticker on the back which is hard to remove so I guess ill let it be. Happy with my purchase overall.

This rug is exactly as shown, it’s a thin rug, it came rolled up so it took a little while for it to lay flat, colour is exactly as shown.
