How to Install
Step 1

Careful install required
The keyhole shaped hanger slots require a lot of precision getting the spacing just right and level. Best to use a ruler and a level to get it right the first time. Once mounted they look real good.

Cheap, inexact construction, but decent enough
Soft, lightweight wood, somewhat roughly and thinly painted, with minor dents and inconsistencies of finish. But overall a clean look, striking a nice balance between modern and rustic. The predrilled screw holes in the two horizontal pieces of each sconce are inexactly placed, so when assembled you might find that a piece isn’t centered, cheapening the look.Mounting is via two inset keyhole mounts on each sconce, making it very fussy to mount them level with the floor and with each other—especially without a mounting template. I resorted to stringing mounting wire between each keyhole so that I could mount each sconce with a single screw. Then I placed a bit of mounting putty between the bottom of each sconce and the wall to keep it from drifting off level. Works well enough.
