Simple Houseware Entryway Shoe Rack Bench Storage Organizer

A good sturdy bench with a simple but elegant design
I needed a bench to keep by my front door to hold footwear and provide a place to sit while I laced up, or when I kicked off my boots when I got home. I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money, and benches are surprisingly expensive.After a long search, I found this reasonably priced bench and gave it a shot. I was worried that at its current price point, it would be low quality and wouldn’t be sturdy enough to sit on. I was relieved to find this was definitely not the case!I found this bench easy to assemble, taking less than 10 minutes in total. After completion, I gave it a few pushes and was pleased with the sturdy performance, experiencing only slight wobble. It’s slim design sits nicely flush against my wall and remains unobtrusive, and the deep brown top and bottom blends seamlessly with the wood features in my living room.It can easily hold 4 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots, all size 12. The two levels underneath consist of 4 bars, and are spaced closely enough that I can even keep my shoe shine kit stored underneath without worrying it will slip through.The top is soft and very well cushioned, and seems to be holding up well. I’m 190lbs, and sitting on this bench feels as solid as a chair.For the price and quality, this was an excellent purchase!

Wobbles, But it Works
Great for the price. I was able to assemble it alone without much difficulty, though some of the screws were tricky to line up, a second person to hold it in place would be a good idea. It doesn’t have a very high weight clearance, but all I wanted was a place to sit and lace up my shoes. For that it works, and at a pretty good budget price point. It does wobble every time I sit on it (I’m 120 lbs) and doesn’t feel like the most stable thing. It has a simple clean look that easily blended in with a coat rack and carpet for our entryway.If you’re looking for a cheap solution to give your entryway a seat, and some built in storage, this works. I’ll probably upgrade sometime down the road, currently any guests are afraid to sit on this bench with the wobble it has.

This piece looks nice. Easy to put together. Not the most sturdy thing, but I didn’t want a big heavy wood seat, mainly because my animals are overly fond of gnawing on wood… so this was perfect. It holds our weight just fine for putting on shoes- just don’t rock or go crazy on it because you can feel it move. It holds several pairs of shoes, but unless it’s right up against a wall, put them in carefully or they will fall out the other side. =D

i like it
i bought this to go next to my front door. easy to put together. perfect size for my corner space. i can fit a good amount of shoes under neath. the cushion is leathered and easy to wipe down. doesnt wobble and feels durable.
