360° Signature Airflow Design
How does it work?
Cool air comes in the bottom vents to feed the fire and enters between the two layers of stainless steel to be heated up. Having cool air come in the bottom vents allows the fire to always plenty of oxygen. Since more oxygen can reach the fuel source, fire wood is burned more efficiently than traditional fire pits. The air that enters the double wall warms up and is pushed out over the fire. This creates a second burn that burns off the small particles of wood that would have been smoke.

Worth Every Penny
I love an open fire and could have a fire every night if I had the time, but my wife is allergic to trees, so she is affected by the smoke more than others. I thought that I would give the “Smokeless” fire pit a try. I looked at other brands and was put off by some build quality complaints, while this one was praised for build quality. I was really looking forward to spending more time with her around a fire and seeing how it really performs vs all the hype. I can say that I was VERY impressed in so many ways. It’s very easy to get a fire going since it breathes so well, and once it gets going, it puts out a lot of beautiful flames, nearly zero smoke, and an insane amount of heat (manageable heat… I’ll explain). While the fire seems to be focused and you get ALL the heat from it, you really get the heat in an upward cone shape away from the pit. In other words, if you sit around the fire, you get heat, but not super intense. If you stand up and get near the pit, you step into the area that the heat radiates, and it does radiate a LOT of heat. Even as the fire dies down and you only have a couple logs burning, you feel more heat that a roaring fire in other open pits (minus the smoke of course). The pit itself is beautiful, the operation is fantastic, there’s nearly zero smoke, and most of all, you don’t smell like a fire pit at the end of the evening (that’s a huge plus). I followed up the purchase with a base and a lid, and now they are selling a handle to move it around as well. This is one of the most exciting purchases I’ve made in quite some time. It’s truly a surprise to get something that really lives up to what it promised and so much more. I really did get a lot more heat and used less wood over the course of the evening. I’m confident that you’ll love this product ( I am in no way endorsed by Solo Stove, nor did they ask me to write a review of any kind). I hope this helps someone out there make a solid decision.

We have a traditional fire pit in our back yard but I’ve always wanted one for our front driveway (as the back yard is huge and a little lonely feeling at times).Very nice to be able to use this and greet neighbors and my kids friends parents as they pick them up etc. Plus the smoke from a traditional fire pit tends to follow me and my kids and makes us all smell like a whole burnt tree.I didn’t even know until recently smokeless fire pits were a thing until I was bestowed that amazing heat deflector for this very fire pit.This is an investment piece that is pure quality-tbh-I probably should have waited until I had budgeted for this piece but with winter upon us I was determined to create budget room and oh boy I am so glad I did!The fire performance is absolutely transfixing, the look is sleek and we put it in our large side garden when we aren’t using it (making it portable as promised).If anyone is wondering about the heat deflector. Just search it up on Amazon as it is separate but really levels it up and spreads heat outward instead of upward. I would enthusiastically recommend the Yukon Solo fire pit to everyone-splurge and if you’re looking this is the one!!Also in case it helps anyone-family of 6 and plenty of heat even sitting a bit back whether we use the deflector or not (it’s just a nice add on!) I will say, if you don’t get the fire roaring you may wonder why you have smoke-I believe in the manual it does explain that in order to work as intended that the fire needs to be going pretty good. Dry out our wood-this helps! If you have wood that isn’t seasoned a good trick is to lay pieces out next to the pit-my family has done this many times with success!

This Yukon will consume some serious wood or pellets but provides plenty of heat for our entire 16’ x 16’ fire pit area with the heat deflector. The secondary burn flames awesome to watch. Highly recommend.

Love the smokeless fire pit!
We love our Solo. It’s nice to have a campfire and not have the smoke blowing in your face. We also love the size and the charcoal grey color. We also bought a screen, a steel cover, and a canvas cover to keep the Solo nice for years. Not cheap, but absolutely great quality!

Nice but some issues
Works well. But the ring at bottom is loose and does not stay centered. Very annoying! Also the cover is so short. Does not cover with accessories. So when you take accessories off, need a place to put and cover them separately.

My wife and I have a tear-shaped fire pit area with a sitting wall all the way around. We previously had a copper pit with dome spark screen. That screen allowed every spark to escape. We found the Solo Stove Yukon on Amazon, and from the first time we lit it, it was impressive! It doesn’t smoke like the previous pit did, and puts out a LOT more heat as well. The Solo Stove Yukon (27”) radiates heat to every square inch of sitting space. This pit was an immediate success. We LOVE it! It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and you don’t get dirty when removing the ashes. I highly recommend this stove! I recently ordered the shield as well to capture what few sparks occur. You will not be disappointed by this fire pit!

Had to see it, to believe it.
It’s unreal how you can sit around this thing for hours and not end up smelling like smoke. You might catch a little bit at the very start or at the end when it’s burning out, but that’s about it. Normally after a fire, you feel like you need to go shower and wash the smoke off, but not with this. It’s really well built, easy to clean, and makes the whole experience of having a fire so much better.
