Crappy cheap shoe rack
Cheap and the screw holes didn’t align. Made the top not open and close. We ended up just glueing the bench top on. Really tired of this crappy stuff from Amazon.

Difficult to assemble
This bench was VERY hard to put together. The instructions were wrong on the one page and switched where the screw and peg went in. The one type of screw was very difficult to screw in. I used the screwdriver that came with it, but I ended up stripping almost every one of the screws because the metal seemed very weak. I could see little pieces of metal coming off of the screw heads as I was trying to get them in. I tried to brush it away, and ended up cutting my finger on it like a big papercut. Then, as I was screwing another one in, I was pushing down on it, trying to get it to go in. It was also getting stripped, and the screwdriver slipped and I stabbed my finger. I’ve assembled lots of similar types of furniture and I’ve never had this problem with screws before.As far as how the product looks/functions after assembly, it seems ok. There’s a chip in the front (unrelated to my difficulty assembling), so it’s not perfect. It does seem sturdy enough. I’ve sat on it and it was ok. It holds a decent number of my kids’ shoes, but boots don’t fit on it. I do like the storage under the seat. It fits my kids’ hats, gloves, and sunglasses nicely.I can’t decide if I’d recommend it. I like the finished product, but my fingers hurt from the screws.

Good overall
This shoe bench is a nice size, looks good, seems pretty sturdy, and was simple enough for one person to put together. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it, but I’m quite frustrated with the placement of the giant red safety sticker right on the front of the bench. It is not very easy to remove, and I’m irritated that I’m going to have to spend a bunch of time picking at the thing in order to get it off, since I obviously don’t want the giant sticker ruining the aesthetic. It’s not irritating enough to make me say don’t buy this, but it’s definitely irritating enough that I felt the need to warn other buyers. Overall, the price is right for the size and quality.

Terrible assembly
Good product but assembly was very hard because not everything fit great together. And the shoe dont fit great cuz its not high enough. Lastly, the hinge i got was damaged as it did not bend at all so i cannot really use the storage.

exactly what I was looking for
This bench went together easily maybe took me 20 minutes . I hesitated to buy based on several low reviews however I have had NONE of their issues ,all parts came, all holes lined up perfectly, instructions were quite clear to follow and the lid on bench does close . Its perfect height,not to low and that was important because I have 3 special needs people in my home . The bench also came sooner than anticipated and I was happily surprised !!
