Ikea who? Get this instead of the Alix
I got a few of these drawer sets from a few sellers during prime day. The difference between them being a drawer size that wasn’t available from the same brand. The competition had soggy wood, microscopic dowels that weren’t up to the task, and so I wasn’t optimistic about this set.The dowels are robust, the design is elegant and efficient, and everything is as well made as possible. The first set I got had missing pieces. The seller has amazing customer service, got me the parts, and I absolutely recommend these. I did accidentally put the drawer slides in upside down because I am blind so I didn’t know there was an end up vs down. The side with the cam lock is the top of the drawer set.I do recommend redrilling the pilot holes for the screws but that’s because MDF is weird. It’s easy, takes seconds, and will make it easier to get the screws to be straight. Everything is labelled including which end of the drawer goes to the front making assembly easy if you can read those. If you cannot the design is intuitive. They’re very sturdy. I have a 25lbs cat and he insists the drawers are for him. The drawers can’t handle his weight but they don’t buckle or bend. They come off the slide instead. Note that they advertise a weight capacity and he exceeds it so I don’t see this as a problem and the way they come down is actually good because no damage to the drawers.

Easy assembly and attractive.
Easy to put together. Pretty good quality for the price. I am planning to use it for art supply storage. Pretty sturdy. I believe I will be using wood glue with the other 2 that I purchased. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. All assembly holes lined up perfectly. I also love that the gave you extra supplies. Good alternative to buying cabinetry.

I purchased this five-drawer storage cabinet in white, and overall, I’m happy with it. Assembly does take some time because you have to put together each drawer with the easy-glide brackets. Be sure to read the directions carefully—I accidentally did one step wrong and had to undo and redo all five drawers before moving forward. Once done correctly, the drawers slide and glide in and out very smoothly.The quality is pretty good overall, though I do wish the back panel and the bottoms of the drawers were sturdier. They are made of thinner board material, so I’d recommend using baskets or liners depending on what you plan to store to prevent damage.I chose not to attach the wheels because I wanted the cabinet to fit under my desk; without the wheels, it sits at just a little over two feet, which is perfect. With the wheels, it would have been too tall.The cabinet is sturdy once assembled, looks nice, and functions well for storage. I did take off one star for the thinner materials used on the back and drawer bottoms, but overall, it’s a solid piece for the price.

Well Designed and Sturdy For Their Low Price
Very sturdy and well designed. Don’t let the low price fool you, these drawer chests are well worth it. I actually used them in a garage shed for tools. Put some organizer foam inserts inside the drawers and they are the perfect depth for everything from screwdrivers to sockets to whatever you may have. Of course, you don’t want to overload them with weightier tools, but for my needs they are perfect. Also the wheels on the bottom make them easy to move around and place anywhere that you need and can be locked in position. Take four or five of these and put them all side by side, and you have a massive amount of space to organize anything.

This turned out perfectly! Exactly what I was hoping for. The material looks great and study. It was easy to put together. The product looks great. I love that the wheels can be locked too but I can also move it around and use it as a side desk to write on. I’m beyond happy wit this product.

Sturdy and well made.
Loved how it came out! Sturdy. Good material. Was a little difficult assembling alone but got easier after step 2 and with help. Instructions were very detailed!! Some holes were a challenge to line up but overall came together without any issues and took about an 1hr with 2 people.

Great for dorm rooms!
This was perfect for my daughter’s dorm room! They fit under her desk and the lofted bed which was great. We loved that they are on wheels so you can easily move them. They were easy to build and the instructions were easy to understand.

PLEASE USE A POWER TOOL
I wish someone had told me to use an electric drill on this instead of using the screwdriver that came with this before I spent two days putting this together. I attempted to put everything together all in one night, but the screws absolutely refused to go into the wood no matter how hard I pushed down with the screwdriver, giving me a painful bruise on th palm of my hand the next day. You can see in the images provided the deepest the screws would go using just the screwdriver that was given, it does NOT go deep enough to install the drawers. Believe me, I tried to believe that it was good enough, but the drawers refuse to slide in all the way unless those screws are flush with the metal piece. After I got my power drill the next day, I thought drilling the screws in the rest of the way was the end of it, but no, all of the brackets were too high so all of the drawers were off, each being a little too high so that the top drawer wouldn’t even go in all the way. So after 5 hours initially, then the 3 more hours it took to redo basically everything but with a drill this time, I was finally able to complete this build. I think the drawers are good, the build quality is fine other than I wish the drawer bottoms were better quality so that it didn’t feel like it’d snap if you put something heavy in it. And I think the white color would’ve been better if I would’ve used a power tool from the beginning so there wouldn’t be a bunch of small scuffs and scratches. After everything, I still really like it, and still excited to use it, but for anyone wondering if they should get this, if you don’t have a power tool to assist you, please save your money and get IKEA instead.
