Book shelf
It looks really pretty but putting it together was a little challenging. I’m not talking about the directions either. Trying to make these screws catch the threads was difficult. The plastic piece you attach them to just spins and if you put too much pressure, it will come out the other side and you’ll have an ugly hole. Once we got it together, that section that has that messed up part is against something else and can’t be seen. I’m satisfied with this shelf. It is decent quality and I’m not worried about it falling over.

Worth it
Assembly for this was easy, and intuitive. I had no issue putting it together and overall it took an hour or a little more-and that was with distractions and breaks. Sturdy and arrived in great condition, other than a minor scratch that appeared on one part. Nothing major or noticeable. The shelf storage space is decent and serves my purpose, which is mostly for display and decorative purposes. This does not wobble and is not as lightweight as other bookshelves I’ve had in the past, and the backing is sturdy and not that cardboard time of material. I really like this and do think it’s worth the investment as this fits easily into most spaces.

Piece of garbage
Wasn’t good at all. The screws were too loose, and the boards were warped and thinner than expected. The board color is pretty, but way overpriced for something so flimsy. I couldn’t even finish putting it together because the holes were too big (yes I triple checked the instructions to make sure I was using the right screws in the right boards and doing everything correctly).

Lots of open storage for books or even plants.
No frills are on this minimalist bookcase, but it doesn’t need any. The top portion is narrower than the bottom portion, and I think it adds interest to the simple piece. The contrasting top adds just a bit of color and I really like that look. There is plenty of room in this bookcase for lots of books, but I am thinking of turning it into a houseplant display. Green plants would look great on the white bookcase. The bookcase is made of quality waterproof engineered wood so it should hold up to wear and tear soon.

Cute shelves
The bookcases are shorter than I anticipated, not easy to put together, and several came with chips on the sides. Since I ordered multiple of them, I was able to place the chipped ones in such a way that the chips don’t show. They are nice looking for prefab selves.
