    Buy these
After my Sengled bulbs stopped working, I decided to try these Tapo TP-Link smart bulbs, and I’m glad I made the switch. Setup was incredibly easy—probably the smoothest experience I’ve had with smart bulbs. Using Alexa, I was able to set up 8 bulbs in less than 20 minutes, and they all connected on the first try without any hassle. The brightness is excellent at 1100 lumens, making them a true 75W equivalent. Rooms that used to feel a little dim are now well lit, and the dimming feature works perfectly for creating different moods. The 16 million color options are vibrant and fun to experiment with, and the white tones range from warm and cozy to bright and cool, which is great for both relaxing and working.Another big plus is that they’re Matter-certified, so they integrate seamlessly not just with Alexa but also with Siri and Google Home. That future-proofs them and gives me confidence they’ll stay compatible long-term.Overall, these bulbs are reliable, bright, versatile, and very easy to use. After dealing with other brands that were inconsistent, these have been a refreshing upgrade. Highly recommend them for anyone building out a smart home.

    I recommend this, here’s why
It’s easy to set up.You need to download Tapo app from App Store, create an account, have the light switch on and insert, wait for the light blink 3 times. Once you got it on Tapo, open your Alexa or Google Home, and then link the account to it. ( you can find how to in google or YouTube)It’s pretty bright, one bulb is enough for bed room, 2 work great in kitchen, 3 or 4 in living room for that brightness.I use this, it’s so convenient. The weather is getting cold, and it’s hard to pull self out of bed….. by just saying xxx, turn on the light, turn off the light is so easy….. recommend for anybody, even setting this up for your parents, or old ones.

Great but you have to set from time to time
Works great for my cats rooms but I have to set the lights again in the tapo app because the lights appears like disconnected from time to time

    works great
this works great with my alexa system, the 75 watt bulbs function unlike the 100w hue lightbulbs that did not work on my light fixture (fan/light). Setting up with challenging at first, but that’s probably because I did not read directions carefully.

Very easy to use smart bulbs
Very easy to use and to connect to the Tapo app and remotely control the light. Good price and very durable quality. Brightness is perfect for the bedroom but living room you might need few more bulbs or higher lumen.

    Kasa/Tapo products just work seamlessly
Kasa/Tapo products have always been so reliable. I’m a product manager and former electrical engineer, and they’ve given excellent attention to both the product experience and the technical design. You see it in the quality of their products – they just work, and work seamlessly.

    Thin color
These are to replace some LIFX RGB bulbs. First off, the color depth is nowhere close, but acceptable. These were easier to do the initial setup. Setting up schedules is very complicated if you want light in the evening, a dim color (night light) for a few more hours, then off. You have to create Shortcuts and create a schedule for each. The Purple preset is more like light red. Using the color wheel doesn’t get you much closer. LIFX had much better, bolder color. The better thing about these Tapo bulbs is they are about 1/4 the price, and on Tapo smart devices, the schedule is retained in the device (until it powers off). On the LIFX, the schedule is in the cloud and if there is any interference or reason the wifi doesn’t “connect” at the event time, it gets missed. With the Tapo you can even have your router off and the lights will stay on schedule. When I first tried smart RGB bulbs, I tried a cheap brand and these Tapo lights have the same thin color. Like I said, they are acceptable, but when you see better color you notice.I had a LIFX bulb go bad, and at $45 each, these 4 Tapo bulbs are $10 less expensive then the one LIFX. That and the wifi/schedule issue, I would still recommend these and other Tapo smart devices.

Good Matter support, but weak brightness unless set to ~2700K
I use Apple Home for automation and have a home hub. These Matter-certified bulbs work well with Apple Home and paired instantly in the Home app just by scanning the QR code. So far, on the first day of use, they appear to be totally reliable with Apple Home and work well. The setup was ultra smooth and easy, like all other Matter-certified devices I’ve added to Apple Home. There are a few cons, though:1. The brightness of the bulbs is pretty weak for a 75W-equivalent bulb. At ~2700K, they are at their brightest and somewhere between 60W and 75W. However, when switching to a daylight temperature like 4000K-5000K they are a good bit dimmer… definitely not over 60W-equivalent, possibly less. And for raw colors, they are drastically dimmer, but colors are just a nighttime gimmick anyways and I don’t care about that; I only want to adjust color temperature throughout the day. My big issue is that the daylight temperatures feel dim.2. Some white-range colors are way off with the Apple Home app. Certain near-daylight colors are rendered by the bulb as bright orange, while other smart lights I have render them correctly. It’s not a total dealbreaker as I just adjusted the color swatch to something the bulb can handle, but I was surprised by this.3. For some reason, the Matter QR code is not printed directly on the bulb base, just the ID number. There are QR code stickers included in the box, but this really should have been printed on the bulb itself. I will probably lose track of these stickers in the future, and it will be more complicated trying to re-pair them then, since the Apple Home app wants to scan a QR code.Seems like a good budget bulb that’s reliable, but I’m still on the fence about returning these and just paying up for the Hue bulbs. Overall, my main complaint is the brightness level at daylight temperatures.
