Terrible!
Do Not Buy!I set these bulbs correctly after some difficulty.The system worked for two weeks, then had to reinstall and go through installation again. I called their help line and was emailed instructions, I followed the instructions, everything worked well for a day, then offline again. Crap!!!

Avoid these. They disconnect constantly.
I’ve used these for over a year and can tell you that these are the worst smart bulbs I’ve ever dealt with, excluding those really cheap ones that don’t turn off, and it’s all because of the constant disconnections. They’ll stay connected for a couple of months before needing to be paired again, and they blink every time you turn them on to remind you they’ve lost connection. I have tried these with two different routers (one a TP-Link), and the problem persists. Over a year’s worth of firmware updates have also not fixed the problem.I have Govee and Phillip Hue lights in my house that work flawlessly. These are the only ones that can’t stay connected. Avoid these and save yourself the hassle and frustration.

Meshing requirement via Kasa exposes users to unsecured networks, I’m now totally hacked!
BUYER BEWARE: Yes, it can be turned on/off, but you must download their Kasa app to install their device. The problem is the Kasa app requires that you leave your secured home network and connect to their unsecured internet! During that time, your connection is free-falling in the world of cyberspace. Every device that I purchased from them has to be connected this way. In my situation, this unsecured network connection resulted in a massive internet breach on my home network! It has been a nightmare to try and fix this breach, with many service providers trying to untangle this mess. We’ve had to get help from our internet service provider, email server, bank, identity thief servicer, cell phone providers to name a few and it’s still not fixed. Bottom line, I would NEVER purchase their products again. Do so at your own risk.UP-DATE: 6/13/2022 ALL DEVICES CONNECTED TO OUR INTERNET WERE EXPOSED TO AND ARE CONNECTED TO A HACKERS UNIVERSE! NOW EVERY ALEXA HAS BECOME A HOME TARGET FOR THEIR ABUSE OF OUR FAMILY AND WE HAVE BEEN UNDER CYBER ATTACKS AFTER SINCE THE BEGINNING. I’m on the fence
I got all 4 lights to connect for a few days. Then 1 keeps going offline and saying it’s local only and one keeps randomly turning on and off. It’s not the wifi, I’ve had other bulbs for years and never had issues with connections one they were connected, I had to switch bulbs because the app stopped working and there was no contact info or info on the website as to what happen with the company or the bulbs.

2nd UPDATE – 2nd bulb died.After a few months in use the second bulb we purchased also died. Not nearly worth 10% of what they cost me.I have Kasa single outlet controls and a Kasa Power Strip that work very well, but these bulbs are worthless.UPDATE – 5 Months of use…While the connectivity worked very well, Only a couple of schedule misses, the bulb DIED after only 5 months of use on a schedule of Sunset to Sunrise. Approximately 1500 hours of total use. Nowhere near the 15000 hours of expected lifespan.I bought 2 of these and swapped it out. If it goes dead in 5 months I’ll just go back to turning the porch light on at night and off in the morning via the switch, rather than pay 10 USD for 5 months of use.Original Review…Works well with Alexa.I also like the fact that it is shaped like a regular old style light bulb and doesn’t have the big base that some LED bulbs have. This works well in our Tiffany style lamp shades without a dead (unlit) area that other style bulbs cause.

Hue bulbs cost more but if you order Tapo bulbs you have to pay a monthly fee.
These do not work with the Alexia app. You need to go to Tapo app and pay a monthly fee for service.

Tiene varias ventajas incluso sobre otros focos mas caros:El diseño es discreto y tipo “retro”, no cualquiera puede identificar que es un foco inteligente ya que no tiene paleta de colores por su tipo, lo utilizo para la entrada de mi casa y con las automatizaciones me he olvidado de encender o apagar el foco.La app Kasa de TP-Link es superior a otras aplicaciones como Yeelight o smart life ya que esta si te muestra el consumo de energía, por día, semana o mes, quizá el punto débil de la app es que no cuenta con el “modo música” que otras apps si cuentan.En cuanto a integración al asistente de google es de lo mas fácil de conectar, en la misma app de google home detectó en automático la app instalada de kasa y el foco se agregó sin problemas.Este foco es compatible también con IFTTT por lo que te puedes poner mas creativo con rutinas o instrucciones.

Super easy way to add a security feature to your house. The only thing to remember is that the light switch has to stay on. In my house people see the lights on insecurity mode and assume someone left the switch on and then power them off. Of course the Wi-Fi bulb can’t work if the power is off. Very easy to set up and program.
