High quality plastic rubbery flexibility that is hard. Its not something to throw away so easy yea. It looks like it lasts a long time yea. No leak from water happening with it. Its big yea. This pot gives your plants roots lots of freedom.

I have two of these in the 10″ size to go into some IKEA hyacinth planters that I have. One of the ones I have is the “Cottage Stone” color, and it’s beautiful, like an oatmeal or a mushroom, just the right note of neutrality and elegance.I do recommend these, but only as freestanding planters. The flared edge makes them easier to pick up and it looks nice. But, these are not good for planter baskets! To get mine just right in my IKEA planters …. I have to use metal tongs to slide into the space between the lip of the pot and the planter. It works, but it’s not great. I will add some marbles which I have an abundance of anyway, to the bottom of the pot, to hopefully elevate the pot so that it’s a little more maneuverable for adjusting, etc.I did look for pots with straighter sides in elegant, neutral tones, but so far haven’t found anything.These are still nice pots, though, and I will order more of this type in the 4″ size, to have around because I need smaller ones for giving away cuttings and such to friends and neighbors. It’s a good pot, but just not for typical planter baskets. Also, the bottom saucer is just annoying, and cannot be used, as it’s way too small and dysfunctional. You can get by with succulents which hardly need enough water to flow out of the drainage holes …. but for normal plants which need to soak up water from the tray a little, to assure that all areas of soil inside the pot get water …. this tray is just so wrong and you have to buy a bigger tray which is hopefully not ugly, like the cheapy clear ones. Most plant pots that you can buy seem to have issues with their trays, so I’m not really saying anything new about that. But, in case anyone wanted to know what to expect upfront, I would say yes, buy this as a freestanding pot and get an extra tray for it, too. Use this in a planter basket if it works out that you can use a basket which is too large for the plant and then fill up the extra space with Spanish moss or something like that.

Annoying packaging
Planter size cool. Umm… I hated the tape holding them together, I now have to spend forever with rubbing alcohol to get all the tape and residue off. Aside from THAT extra task, hoping I can repot my plants and trees within the next 2 weeks. If I was going to spend this much on plastic planters, I’d have been better off going to Target or Walmart.

I got a couple to repot some avocado tree’s into (they were in 8 inch pots). I don’t think I’m going to need to repot again for 5 or 6 years or more. MASSIVE!

This a quite a large pot (20”) and is perfect for my growing plant. It comes with a catch tray at the bottom for overflow water. The colour is a beautiful turquoise and is made of sturdy plastic.I absolutely recommend this pot as it comes different sizes and I have had so many compliments on it.
