This hammock stand is very sturdy and feels rock solid and high quality throughout. It’s entirely tool free to set up. You basically just fold it open, click some cross bars in place and you are done in minutes. The frame is surprisingly lightweight and easy to move.I found that this frame looks a lot better in person than on the product photos, the chrome finish looks nice.The hammock itself is ok. It’s reasonably comfortable but a quite plastic-y and not very large. It’s a bit smelly and needs a wash out of the box, which could prove tricky with the metal hardware integrated in it.Unfortunately I had to order this product 3 times and return it twice to get the correct color. Worth it though, I love it.

I bought this as a present for my husband on his birthday. It was really comfortable and he enjoyed it the first time. After he sat on it the 2nd time the metal screw started to bend and tear into the frame support. He is only 200lbs so is nowhere near the weight limit.It was unfortunately just past the return period when I gave it to him. It has been over a month and no response from the company for a replacement part or hammock.Extremely disappointing paying all of that to sit in a hammock once. Do not buy this or anything from Tranquillo with absolutely no customer service.

I would give the ITEM more stars but the company less were it possible.- The stand does set up quickly with no required tools.- The hammock that comes with the stand is passably comfortable but is VERY low even at maximum stretch.I weigh 230lb (~105kg) so definitely not overloading the setup.- It is clearly built to a price.201 stainless steel is only somewhat more rust resistant than mild steel.Parts do not fit together well. The keyhole plates can bind during assembly and require excessive force to set or undo.- It is reasonably lightweight though that may lead to durability issues in the long term.- Stand will only work well on flat, smooth surfaces.Horizontal rails are very close to the ground despite the rubber feet.There is a risk of kinking the thin-wall tubing if it is set on uneven surfaces, even ordinary grass.For my specific use-case, the stand was too short in length and height. It had been unpacked and set up on a carpeted floor to determine this. The advertised overall length does not tell the whole story. The actual points where the hammock attaches are ~5″ (~13cm) closer together than the overall length suggests. Since I could not use the stand. It got put back into the original box (without the original plastic wrap) and sent back for refund. When it left my hands, there was ZERO mechanical or cosmetic damage. There was supposed to be a 10% restocking fee. When the refund came through, that fee had been bumped to 50%. When asked about, I was told, “Our Returns Team confirmed that the item was returned showing signs of use or in a condition that prevents the item being resold”. There were no other details. There determination is blatantly untrue but there is no recourse. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. I will never buy from this company again.
