A Set of Two Elegant Sconce Lighting Fixtures for the the Bedroom or Bath
It’s a beautiful side of elegant gold-colored wall sconces with clear glass for the bedroom. The manufacturer describes the sconces as elegant because they are taller than usual, clear glass. It uses the E26 lightbulb, which comes in thousands of varieties and is also known as the extended American lightbulb.I would get a long tall E26 lightbulb and a pen upon where I was putting it if I put it in the bedroom, I might put it in with a dimmer switch and a lawn lightbulb because you’re gonna actually see the settlement of the lightbulb through the shade I would want to be able to dim the lightbulb down to almost candlelight lighting at night and uses a nightlight in the bedroom. In the bathroom, I don’t want the light as bright as possible, of course, because this would make it easier to put on makeup and shave. Want to see what they’re doing in the bathroom.Installation is easy once you have installed a standard US junction box. Before doing any electrical work, locate the circuit breaker panel box in your home, which is normally in the basement and occasionally in the garage. You should turn off the appropriate circuit breakers until you show. The power is turned off at the junction boxes you’ll be working on for these two sconces. Once you believe that will be the case, use an electrical voltage tester or voltage meter to test each wire in the junction box to ensure none are still energized.Take the install plate, which has a circle in the center and has a set of four machine screws to the machine screws heads out away from the junction box, and I used to secure the lighting fixture with the supplied decorative nuts that cover the screws. Two of the other screws screw into the junction box to secure the plate thread. I recommend, of course, that both of these sconces be on a dimmer up there in the bedroom, or if they’re in the bathroom, you’d also want to have a dimmer because at night you may want to dim the light down a little bit and brighten it once it’s being used for shaving or application to make up.

Elegant and modern. Simple install.
These are great. They come with all of the connections and caps that you need. I had never replaced anything with electrical wiring before, but I’m a pretty handy lady. So I looked up a video online on how to replace wall sconces and I was able to do it. It was simple reconnecting the wires, because they were already attached to the new sconce. So I just twisted the wiring around the ones in my wall and put a wire cap on, and it was good. The screws provided for rehanging the sconce were a little too long for it to fit flush against my wall, so I just reused my old screws. The gold is nice, not too shiny so that it would look fake. It really modernized my wall. Note: the lightbulbs are NOT provided. The instructions say not to use more than 60W bulbs. I bought a 25W dimmable bulb because I wanted a softer ambiance. You have to find a bulb that is oblong shape/ thin so that the glass cover fits over it. I personally think the sconces look nice without the glass cover. I photographed it both ways. Overall, I am impressed with these. And love the modern design.
