Coffee table
Really nice coffee table, the drawers are on the opposite side of how the table actually lifts up, but it’s honestly not that bad. Decent storage, as long as you want to store board games and general flat things in it, we fit a folded blanket in it too so it works! Feels pretty sturdy, not like it’s gonna just fall over as soon as you press on it. The top of it definitely is darker than described, but it works out cause it matches our coat rack.

Worth the time needed!
I really like the design and colors. It took me about 3 hours to put it together. Very well packaged. Extra hardware was included. I spent some time looking for a numbered piece that didn’t have a number on it. I like the lift top more than I expected.

For the price, I think this was a good buy. I like the look, the lift top works well and is very handy, and the storage is nice to have. My husband assembled it and didn’t seem to have any problems. I kind of wish it had a “barn door” on each side, but it is only on one. As we have it assembled and positioned, the top lifts toward the couch but the barn door opens on the other side. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Also, the top gets smeary finger prints on it (maybe because of lotion on my hands?) and has to be wiped off quite regularly because they’re really noticeable. Again, not a big deal, but I’ve never had a piece of furniture that did that. Lastly, I wish the brand had end tables to match. I’ve found some that are very similar, but the tops don’t appear to be the same color, so I’m hesitant to purchase. Despite these picky little wishes, I would recommend overall.

Disappointing look
I wish I could rate the aspects of this purchase by categories. Five stars for careful packing-it would be hard for the worst delivery service to have caused damage to the product. Instructions and piece alignment-superb. Disappointment if you expect the piece to look better than something you could drag home from the local discount box store. It’s a total fail for looks. It’s that bright white, fake finish we all know and hate from the discount store. I wanted to love it but just can’t.
