More than 30-years ago, the first Woodstock Chime was created by Grammy award-winning musician Garry Krista from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympus, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano. Garry had the idea to cut and tune the lawn chair chime tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The sound is so soothing
This was definitely worth the money. These windows chimes are very well made and the sound they make is so wonderful! They are so calming, even when it’s super windy they don’t make clanging noises. It hangs super well on my porch and I love the butterfly, it’s the perfect size!

Soothing Chimes To Relax With
I was very impressed with the quality and sound from these wind chimes. For the price, it was definitely worth every penny. You can tell the quality from the time you open the carefully packaged product to the sounds it makes prior to putting them up. No tinty stuff here, just a pleasant chime ring to them. It seems well built and balanced just right. I wish my pictures could show you how beautiful the wind chimes look. Unfortunately the time of day has made the colors look black and bland. Not so. They look exactly like the photos in the description. The sound is really soothing after a hard day at work. I really can’t say enough good things about them.I sent a short video to get some of the sound. Hoping it will give the accurate sound of the chimes.Highly recommend this as a gift for yourself or to someone you really care for. These chimes won’t leave you disappointed.

I replaced a “non Woodstock” windchime recently with this one, to pair up to another Woodstock that I owned. After having two I would say the Woodstock products definitely hold up much better. We have had some wind/rain over the last season in Norcal and our chime lost one of it’s chimes and it just seemed easier to buy then to fix. We looked at our other windchime and Woodstock was fine, weathered the storm fine with no issues. The manufacturers website lets you listen to the tones so you can find one that appeals to you or has a complimentary tone with one you already own. That is what we did and we LOVE the chime and it pairs so well with the one we owned already. Listening let us weed out the ones that weren’t our style. Beautiful, well-priced and would also make a great housewarming gift. Two big thumbs up to Woodstock for bringing quality products to market with a price that everyone can afford.

Gorgeous sound, good for background noise outside window at night to counteract tinnitus.**Update 2025**Still going strong, look after them with Danish oil annually after a clean pm the wood parts, I take them in during bad storms and over bad winters on Scotland. Well worth it for 8yrs old and still going strong.

Fue para un regalo y gustó mucho. El tamaño es muy acertado, no se ve ni pequeño ni excesivamente grande. El detalle de la mariposa está hecho de un material como de hierro oxidado, pero es muy bonito. La persona a la que lo regalamos le gustó tanto que lo ha dejado en interior para que no se estropee, así que no puedo opinar de la resistencia a las inclemencias del tiempo.
