Thumbs up for this little Hub
I’m very pleased with my new hub, I am able to control my Yoolax shade thru Alexa and even program a routine to have it opened and closed at set hours. The hub itself is quite small and connects by cable directly to the router for both power and wifi link. I only have my shade connected but you can also add other compatible devices. Thumbs up for me, it is all good!

Resolves Alexa Zigbee & Thread Issues, but…
If you’re looking for a solution to the Yoolax Zigbee/Matter & Thread motor (Z425) connectivity issues with Alexa’s Thread network mesh, then this is it! The hub was easy to set up. It created its own Thread network that bypasses the Alexa Thread network mesh but can still work with Alexa since it’s also a border router that attaches via ethernet. There’s no Wi-fi. Yoolax devices have to be installed in the Yoolax app, but the Alexa Yoolax skill automatically creates the devices in the Alexa app. My Yoolax blinds finally stay online in Alexa and voice routines work nearly every time. That’s the good news.The bad news is that none of the settings in the Yoolax app work including the battery level indicators. In addition, name changes in either app fail to sync with the other. Even if the Yoolax app worked perfectly I’d still be reticent to give it more than three stars since the Yoolax hub shouldn’t be necessary for motors that Yoolax claims are directly compatible with the latest Echo, Echo hubs, and Echo 10 that I have in my house on a single Amazon Thread network mesh. The truth is, I think this is an Alexa Thread issue that I hope will be resolved when, and if, they roll out the latest 1.4 version. However, Yoolax shouldn’t be claiming Alexa compatibility when they “recommended” their hub on every floor to ensure that their shades stay connected.UPDATE: Yoolax support has been excellent. I’m adding a star.

Great customer service from Yoolax
Michael, Yoolax’s customer service, was very patient when I contacted them with my connection issues. We texted on Whatsapp and he walked me through the process to troubleshoot my problems. I am happy with their customer service and willingness to better understand the issue to solve the problem.
