Nice looking materials
I thought this came very well packaged (I forgot to take a pic before unpacking), and had no damage upon arrival. I always opt to go for Amazon packaging when the option says that it will come in the manufacturers box. I think this sometimes adds some additional protection. There were a few dents/perforations in the manufacturer box, but there are sheets of styrofoam between the box and the material, so nothing was affected. Each item was without nicks or other imperfections.I will say, I was dreading putting it together. I recently bought a new house, and I somewhat adamantly, said that I was not going to be assembling any furniture in this venture. That is to say that all the furniture that I bought so far has been ‘white glove delivery,’ where I could just sit and have somebody else put it together. But I thought that I would take a chance on this, because of the cost.So I will say that I think the assembly was pretty straightforward and the pieces felt study. I was a bit disappointed that there were no actual written instructions. I guess things have just moved towards keeping it almost strictly pictographs. But my brain just needs to be told certain things to feel comfortable, especially if you don’t assemble things often.Like there are two kind of thin pieces of wood that are in a rectangle shape (but barely, one side is 2.76” the other is 2.3”) and a certain side needs to be placed lengthwise. But because there’s no written instructions alerting to this, I basically overlooked that. And at one point, I thought I had to disassemble the whole thing. But I seem to have gotten it right, just by chance. I also struggled with understanding how to install the anchors for the screws in the bench.It is possible to scan a QR code to watch a video. That’s only like a minute long or something. But yeah, I would’ve just felt happier with some more actual written English words to follow.My other issue is that this really does require two people to assemble. I tried to, and I do think succeeded (but barely), to assemble it by myself. This is on me, as the instructions do say it needs two people. So it probably took me a little over two hours to do it. And that was primarily because I really struggled to place on the seat/bench part of it. That’s the piece that I really think you need another person to hold so you can tighten the screws.In any case, I just finished assembling it tonight. I haven’t actually used it for anything. I did sit on it to test the weight. It seemed sturdy and it could hold my weight. I’m about 200 pounds. And it says it can go up to 330. So I think that’s probably accurate. For me this will be in the front entryway that will likely only get used when hosting guests. So hopefully it won’t be something that will be worn down quickly.

The side panels are touchy when assembling.
The side planks are very cheap. The rest of it went together great but the edges of the side piece crinkled up once the top and bottom of the frame were in place. It’s like a wallpaper on the sides. Everything else was impressively nice. I’d say it was worth the money. fits the area I had planned for it perfect but also did measurements before ordering. The top cushion is really nice. Once assembled there’s a decent amount of room for shoes of all sizes. It was simple enough to build. Came with its own tools to mostly assemble but will need a flat head screw driver to connect the top to the rest. Top was also already assembled. I personally really like it. It works for its purpose and looks very nice!

Great Quality & Looks!
Easily put together (w/ two people)…I’m fat and this feels STURDY when I sit on it. It keeps the shoes organized, has a neat little storage, it makes the entry area just prettier. Highly recommend, especially for the $90-ish it cost. 💯

Nice bench!
Really nice bench. It was pretty easy to put together…all the holes lined up perfectly. The instructions could have been a little clearer, and one of the screws broke off, but that could have been due to over-tightening, although you would think that over-tightening would strip the wood before breaking the screw. The cushion is a little hard/stiff, but maybe will soften up once it’s broken on.
